‘Golden Bachelor’s Gerry Turner & Girlfriend Share New Photo From ‘Beautiful Weekend’ Together
Gerry Turner and Lana Sutton are soaking up every second of summer they can. After recently taking a European vacation, the couple is back home in Indiana and embracing the outdoors.
Sutton took to Instagram on Sunday, August 3, to share a photo of the pair spending time together on the water.
“A beautiful weekend on the lake @goldengerryturner,” she captioned the shot, which features Sutton and The Golden Bachelor star in their swimsuits and sunglasses while on a boat.
Earlier this summer, she shared a similar sentiment when she posted a photo of herself and Turner on a jet ski with the caption, “Fun times on the lake with this handsome guy!”

Sutton and Turner got together in March after she slid into his Facebook DMs and they realized they lived near each other in Indiana. Turner was less than a year fresh off his divorce from Theresa Nist, whom he married in January 2024 after meeting on Season 1 of The Golden Bachelor. The marriage only lasted three months before the two separated.
Turner has said that the split was due partly to his February 2024 cancer diagnosis, but Nist disagreed. “In his mind, it factored into his decisions, so he just assumed that it factored into mine when it had nothing to do with it,” she said on the Almost Famous podcast.”I would have never left my husband over an illness.”
The former couple also wasn’t able to agree on a place to live, but Nist said that wasn’t the only factor that contributed to the divorce. “Part of it was the distance, but that wasn’t the only part,” she confirmed. “That’s really all I will say.”
Nist and Turner were both previously married before their respective spouses died. Meanwhile, she recently teased that she had gone on “several dates” with a new mystery man, but recently confirmed that she’s “keeping [her] options open” and not settling down just yet.
