Muir has actually never confirmed his relationship status. He does not appear to be married or dating anyone, but he is notoriously private about his personal life and has never spoken about his dating history.
However, Muir is aware that he has devoted fans who are into him. While discussing the “thirst” edits of him on social media, he told People, “People will forward TikTok videos, but only because they are laughing out loud at them and making fun of me and saying, ‘When did you become Daddy?’ So I don’t know whether that happens when you hit 50 or what, but I’ll take it as a compliment, I think. Anyone who works with me knows that I am so uncomfortable even having to put on the tux. So the fact that I survive those events is still a surprise to me without looking like a total nerd.”

Does David Muir have kids?
Muir does not have children of his own, although he is a dog dad to a pup named Axel. He also has several nieces and nephews. In 2017, he posted a selfie with two of his nieces and one nephew and captioned it, “My squad left. Sent the nieces and nephew back to school. Bring #4 next time.”
Who is Rebecca Muir?
Rebecca Muir is Muir’s sister. He also has two step-siblings from his dad’s second marriage.
Is David Muir friends with Kelly Ripa?
Muir has a close friendship with fellow ABC star Kelly Ripa. Some fans have mistaken them for more than just friends in the past, but Ripa has been married to Mark Consuelos since 1996.

“We have unfettered access to David in this building,” Ripa joked when Muir appeared on an episode of Live With Kelly and Mark earlier this year. “Sometimes we just go up and stare at him and he doesn’t even know we’re there.”
Muir and Ripa have attended various events together over the years, and he is also friends with her husband.
