Is ‘The Bachelor’s Juliana Pasquarosa Dating Jenn Tran’s Ex After Grant Ellis Split?
Two months after Juliana Pasquarosa and Grant Ellis announced they were ending their engagement, she opened up about the split for the first time.
In her interview on the Trading Secrets podcast with Jason Tartick, Pasquarosa also addressed rumors that she’s dating Matt Rossi, Jenn Tran‘s ex who showed up on her season of The Bachelorette to try and win her back.
Pasquarosa and Rossi are not a romantic item. “I went to high school with Matt Rossi,” she told Tartick, adding that they’re just friends. “We actually put up a video the other day just kind of like teasing that we are kissing,” she said. “But no, it’s just fun.”
The pals often post funny videos together on TikTok, but their relationship appears to be strictly platonic.

Pasquarosa got engaged to Ellis when The Bachelor Season 29 filmed last fall. They were able to go public with their relationship in March after the finale aired. However, in mid-June, the two announced that they had broken up.
“It’s so odd because I think I was having so much angst about the breakup being announced because I felt oddly embarrassed on the sense that … on my family’s end, we take marriage very seriously and, just before even filming, I had this goal like, ‘I just want to make my family proud of who I am when they watch it back.’ So that was really hard for me,” Pasquarosa admitted in her new interview.
She also reflected on watching The Bachelor back when it aired. “There were times in conversations that I watched when he would say certain things, I would get more upset with him because I’m like, ‘Do you understand the weight of what you just said to that person?’” she revealed. “More as an accountability [thing] than being flustered because I knew that he was going to be doing that when I was filming, and I can’t be upset with something that I agreed to do. So I reminded myself of that a lot.”
As for why she and Ellis didn’t go into detail about the reason for their “mutual” breakup, the 28-year-old explained, “I think it would have been nice to provide some clarity, but I also think that that would have been a really hard conversation for Grant and I to have on how do we verbalize it? After the initial conversation, we had a lot of conversations. It made sense for the both of us.”
Pasquarosa didn’t get specific when asked where she and Ellis stand now, but said she wants to “see him succeed and will always support him.” She added, “I think he’s a really great, genuine guy and I can tell he’s supporting me from afar.”
