‘Love Thy Nader’: The Bombshell Way Brooks Found Out Gleb Savchenko Was Allegedly Cheating
The first two episodes of Love Thy Nader premiered on Freeform on Tuesday, August 26, and explored what went down before Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko called it quits.
The premiere episode began with Brooks and Gleb madly in love as she settled into a new apartment with her sisters (Mary Holland, Grace Ann, and Sarah Jane) in New York City. She received a massive bouquet of flowers from Gleb, who was on tour with Dancing With the Stars at the time, and waited in anticipation for his next visit after nearly a month apart.
Before Gleb arrived, Brooks revealed to her sisters that she had told him to stay with them “indefinitely” after the tour was over, which immediately sparked a conversation about the red flags that the girls felt Gleb possessed. Mary Holland, Grace Ann, and Sarah Jane were worried about how fast things were moving in the relationship, especially since it had been less than a year since their oldest sister separated from her husband, Billy Craine.
But Brooks was adamant that it was real. “I met my ex-husband when I was 19 years old,” the supermodel pointed out. “I was with him until I was 27. Going from that to the hottest guy I’ve ever seen in my entire life…we have the craziest, wildest sex ever.”

When Gleb arrived, he and Brooks couldn’t keep their hands off each other. Even with her sisters (and later, their conservative parents) right in the same room, Gleb and Brooks would continuously kiss and touch each other, which increased her family’s speculation. The Sports Illustrated star got emotional over how hard of a time her parents and sisters were giving Gleb, and worried that it would cause a strain on their relationship.
At the end of Episode 1, Brooks and Gleb had to part ways when he went back on tour the very same day that she was launching her new collection with Hudson Jeans. While getting ready, Brooks became increasingly paranoid when she didn’t hear from her boyfriend, even hours after he landed. She feared her family scared him off.
It wasn’t long before she found out he had left his phone in the car that drove him to the airport. It was returned to her, and she couldn’t help but snoop through it after realizing she knew the passcode. What she found shocked her beyond belief.
“What the f**k is this?” Brooks wondered. “There’s, like, a million girls in here. This is a week ago. Threesome girl. Joshua Tree. I feel really betrayed.” (Gleb owns properties in Joshua Tree). The show noted that Gleb has denied all accusations of cheating and wrongdoing.
Episode 2 picked up with an emotional Brooks dealing with the aftermath of what she allegedly saw…all on the same night of her big launch. “He’s been blowing this guy up about these threesomes,” she alleged as she ranted to her sisters about the situation. Sarah Jane pointed out that Gleb was always so concerned about Brooks cheating on him, which made the whole thing even more ironic.
Eventually, she had to pull herself together and attend the event, which is when the gossip mill started spinning. The public found out that there was trouble in paradise that night, which prompted articles to come out in the press about the split.
Brooks’ sisters urged her to ghost Gleb and planned a trip to Miami to take her mind off the drama, but when they landed, they saw that he had been doing interviews and talking about what happened. He continuously denied allegations of cheating and said he was “blindsided” when he saw articles online that claimed he and Brooks broke up.
“I’m still processing things [and] I didn’t call f**king Page Six,” Brooks, who has been tight-lipped about the breakup until now, pointed out. “He literally wrote me a long a** text saying, ‘I wish you all the best, goodbye,’ and then I didn’t respond. I don’t owe him s**t. He’s talking to everyone. I don’t understand what gives him the right to call all these people.”
The episode ended with Brooks unsure of what she should say to Gleb. “I’m going to f**king bury this motherf**ker,” she concluded. The rest of the episodes will drop on Hulu on Friday, August 27, and also air weekly on Freeform moving forward.
