Reba McEntire & Rex Linn Are Engaged! Couple’s Exciting News Confirmed at 2025 Emmys

Reba McEntire and Rex Linn are engaged! The couple, who started dating in 2020 following the country singer’s 2015 divorce from Narvel Blackstock, confirmed the exciting news while celebrating the 2025 Emmys on Sunday, September 14.
McEntire and Linn walked the red carpet together, and E! News host Zuri Hall referred to Linn as McEntire’s “fiancé” during their interview. She was also wearing a ring on her left hand.
With McEntire performing during a tribute for The Golden Girls at the show, Linn was by her side to show his support. The two met while starring on The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw in the early 1990s. At the time, McEntire was married to Blackstock.
In 2020, she and Linn reconnected when she guest starred on an episode of Young Sheldon. Linn has a recurring role on the show, and their romantic relationship began via texting and talking on the phone before they finally began seeing each other in person that June.

Last year, McEntire and Linn debuted their show Happy’s Place on NBC. The show has since been renewed for a second season and will return this fall.
Before she was married to Blackstock, McEntire wed Charlie Battles in 1976. They divorced nine years later, and she tied the knot with Blackstock, whom she was married to for 26 years, in 1989. Now, she’s found her happily ever after with Linn.
“Rex and I get along in every aspect,” McEntire told Fox News Digital in May. “He’s a better cook than I am, so I like that, for sure. We love Longhorns, we love the cowboy way of life, cowgirl way of life, and we both got into the entertainment industry.”
She added, “So it’s just the perfect union, absolutely. And we get along great. We do argue now. We argue a lot, but we have fun doing that too.”
