‘B&B’ Star Scott Clifton Reveals Rare Details About Girlfriend Elle Anderson and Their Romance
The Bold and the Beautiful star Scott Clifton opened up about the early days of his relationship with girlfriend Elle Anderson. In the latest episode of Rebecca Budig and Greg Rikaart‘s Soapy podcast, the Daytime Emmy winner sat down to chat about his career, his future, and more.
During the conversation, Budig brought up Clifton’s voice and accent talents. Clifton admitted that he wanted to be a voiceover actor before he got into soaps. This led the actor to recall a sweet detail about his relationship.
“When I first met my girlfriend, I was in the middle of reading this chapter book to my son every night,” Clifton said in the interview. “I had to come up with all these voices for all the different dragons, and one kid’s from Dublin, one kid’s from Charleston, South Carolina, and then the dragons had to have different voices.”
The General Hospital alum revealed that he eventually “read her a chapter like the way that I would to my son one night while we were hanging out.” Clifton’s performance was so good that his girlfriend “demanded that I record a voice note and send her a chapter every night. Not just because she liked the way that I would narrate it, but because she wanted to know what happened next in the book, so every night I would put Ford to bed and then I would go record a chapter.”
Clifton and Anderson, an events planner, went public with their relationship in January 2024. The CBS actor was previously married to Nicole Lampson from 2012 to 2023, during which they welcomed their son, Ford.
Back in June, Anderson revealed why she and Clifton had been quiet on social media lately. Anderson had undergone intensive surgery to correct an injury she sustained in a car accident the year before. “The physical challenges have been real, but the people around me have been my strength. One week into a two-week bedrest and with many weeks of physical therapy to come, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the love and support,” she wrote on Instagram.
Anderson noted that Clifton’s son was the “most loving and serious bedside nurse. He has taken this self titled responsibility VERY seriously.”
The couple made their red carpet debut at the 2024 Daytime Emmys. With the 2025 ceremony coming up in October, they could make the outing another date night!
