Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are married! The couple, who started dating during summer 2023, tied the knot on September 27 in a California wedding, surrounded by their family and loved ones.

The newlyweds made their wedding announcement on Instagram. They shared a series of romantic snapshots from their nuptials. The former Disney Channel star looked stunning in a classic wedding gown with a halter-style neckline.

The couple included a variety of wedding photos in their announcement post. One included Gomez sweetly kissing the top of Blanco’s nose. Another featured Gomez sitting on the ground with her gown’s train spread around her. In a video, Gomez adorably fixed her new husband’s bow tie.

The big wedding day came less than one year after Blanco popped the question to the Only Murders in the Building star in December 2024. “Forever begins now…” Gomez captioned an Instagram post at the time.

However, the proposal almost didn’t happen as planned. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Blanco revealed that his now-wife almost bailed on the plans he set in motion for the night they got engaged.

“She was mad. She almost didn’t even come,” he shared. “She was like, ‘I really don’t feel that well. I think I’m just gonna stay home today.'” He also admitted, “First of all, getting engaged to someone is the craziest thing in the world. It’s like, right before you’re gonna tell someone you’re gonna be married to them forever, they’re like, ‘Show me how good you can lie to me.'”

Gomez, meanwhile, said she “freaked out” and “forgot everything” after getting proposed to.

Now that the two are officially husband and wife, they’re ready to begin their future together. Both stars have been open about wanting children in the future. “I don’t know what will happen, obviously, but I love children,” Gomez said when she and Blanco appeared on the On Purpose With Jay Shetty podcast in March. “I have an 11-year-old sister that I absolutely adore. … So absolutely, when that day comes, I’m so excited for it.”

The “Love On” singer has been open about the fact that she will not be able to carry her own child due to past medical issues. “I find it a blessing that there are wonderful people willing to do surrogacy or adoption, which are both huge possibilities for me,” she told Vanity Fair. “It made me really thankful for the other outlets for people who are dying to be moms. I’m one of those people. I’m excited for what that journey will look like, but it’ll look a little different. At the end of the day, I don’t care. It’ll be mine. It’ll be my baby.”
