‘Love Is Blind’ Season 9 Cast Reveals Their Biggest Red Flags From the Pods (VIDEO)

For anyone who’s seen Love Is Blind, it won’t come as a surprise that not every date in the pods is a match made in heaven. Now that Season 9 of Love Is Blind is finally here, we sat down with members of the cast to reveal some of the biggest red flags they saw in the pods — even though they couldn’t see their date.
“The biggest red flag for me was when women were maybe talking about the same man, and he wasn’t as forthcoming with that information with them,” Kalybriah said. According to her, guys would tell their date that they were only seeing one person, and other women would prove that wasn’t the case.
Ali Lima admitted that her biggest question in the pods was, “Why are you asking multiple girls about their rings?” As she put it, “You should only be asking about like ring information when you’re sure, you know? So I was like, little flag went up for that for sure.”

While Kalybriah and Ali spoke generally about their pod experience, Madison Maidenberg dove straight into her pod relationship with Joe, the man she ultimately got engaged to. She revealed, “I would say there were a couple of instances that I noticed that seemed like Joe was kind of mirroring me.” While she ultimately feels this was a red flag, she recalled, “I didn’t know if it was just like serendipitous, where I was like, ‘Wow, like, we really are just meant to be,’ or if it was maybe a little bit more manipulative than that.”
Madison later revealed to Swooon during an exclusive interview that Joe acted completely different on and off camera. She shared, “And I even actually had to sit down with him, and I asked him point-blank, like, ‘Are you trying to make it look like you don’t like me on camera?’ And he’s like, ‘No, no. I’m just camera shy.’ But we all know what we signed up for.”

At the same time, the Season 9 guys could not think of a single red flag they saw during their time in the pods. Jordan Keltner, who got engaged to “Sparkle” Megan Walerius, admitted, “I don’t think Megan, for me, had red flags.” Blake Anderson, who left the pods early, added, “That’s what made it so difficult… I think all those conversations were fun on Day 1.”
