Who Is Nicolle Kate? Meet the ‘Golden Bachelor’ Contestant Who’s Causing Drama
Season 2 of The Golden Bachelor is officially underway after the first two episodes premiered on September 24. One of the women who’s already making some waves in the house is Nicolle Kate.
During the Episode 2 pool party, Nicolle rubbed some of the other women the wrong way by continuously making out with Mel Owens in front of them. She was unapologetic about it as the two explored their physical connection.
Unsurprisingly, Nicolle was one of the 13 ladies who received a rose at the second rose ceremony, which means she’ll be back on screens for Episode 3 on Wednesday, October 1. Scroll down to learn more about her.

What does Nicolle Kate do for a living?
Nicolle is a health coach and yoga instructor. “I help women in midlife and beyond use diet and lifestyle to discover what nourishes them inside and out,” her website reveals. “With simple yet powerful practices, I guide women to restore health, confidence, and joy, so they can feel radiant, beautiful, and fully alive in this beautiful chapter of life.”
Prior to becoming a wellness expert, she held a number of other jobs. She studied graphic design in college, then began working in advertising as a campaign designer. She eventually launched a personal shopping and closet editing business in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
This started feeling “vacant” for Nicolle, who pivoted her career to pursue a passion in culinary arts and nutrition. After attending a plant-based culinary school, she went to the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York City and officially became a health coach. She worked as a vegan chef in Los Angeles and a health coach, which prompted her to launch her Nicolle Kate food blog.

How old is Nicolle Kate?
As of filming for The Golden Bachelor, Nicolle is 64 years old. “I feel more confident, beautiful, and vibrant than ever; wiser, healthier, sexier, and more comfortable in my own skin than I was in my youth,” she wrote on her website. “I’m living proof that it’s never too late to create a life you love at any age.”
Does Nicolle Kate have kids?
Yes, Nicolle has two adult children, according to her ABC bio. Both of them have found “the loves of their lives.”
