Who Is Angela Kinsey’s Husband? Meet ‘The Office’ Star’s Love Joshua Snyder

Couples that cook together stay together. Isn’t that how the saying goes? Angela Kinsey added “author” to her resume years ago — she cowrote a book about The Office with Jenna Fischer — but she’s found a new collaborator in her husband, Joshua Snyder. They just launched a family-friendly book of recipes called You Can Make This!, which Kinsey says has been a long time coming.
“In 2018, I wrote in a journal that I hoped Josh and I would sell a cookbook!” the actress wrote in an October 20 Instagram post. “Seven years in the making, I can’t wait! I love you Josh and I’m so proud of this book! It’s got amazing delicious recipes but it’s more than a cookbook to me… it’s us, it’s our family.”
So, who is The Office star’s husband and fellow cookbook writer? Read on for everything we know about Kinsey and Synder’s marriage, their family, and more.
Who is Angela Kinsey’s husband?
Snyder, Kinsey’s partner in cooking, writing, and life, is originally from Colorado and Kansas, though he now lives in Los Angeles with his wife. He comes from a family of “do-it-yourselfers,” according to their website, which is why the 47-year-old taught himself how to bake for his sons.
What does Joshua Snyder do for a living?
Like his wife, Snyder is an actor, with credits in One Tree Hill, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, CSI: NY, and Days of Our Lives. Considering his latest acting job took place in 2017, it seems that he’s pivoted to baking and being an influencer full-time. In 2016, he and Kinsey launched their online baking show, “Baking with Josh and Ange.” According to the description, “Josh bakes and Angela chats while trying her best to keep up.”
How long have Angela Kinsey and Joshua Snyder been married?
After getting engaged in August 2016, the couple tied the knot that November. “Our wedding was more than just two people coming together, it was a family coming together,” Kinsey told Martha Stewart Weddings.

The couple’s love story reportedly began when they met in a grocery store, per Distractify, which would be fitting considering their recent pursuits. “I certainly didn’t think I’d get married again, I don’t think Josh did either,” she told ABC News in 2021.
Do Angela Kinsey & Joshua Snyder have kids?
Kinsey and Snyder don’t share any biological children, but the two have frequently spoken about their blended family. The actress has one daughter, 17-year-old Isabel, with her ex-husband, Warren Lieberstein. They divorced in 2010.
When Kinsey wed Snyder, she became a stepmom to his two sons, 17-year-old Jack and 15-year-old Cade. On the couple’s website, they add that they also live with two cats and two dogs, which fills their home with “delightful chaos.” She opened up more about their lives together to ABC News: “We are a blended family, and our kids get along so well. It was just me and my daughter, and all of a sudden, there were these rowdy boys in our lives, and they just made our house a home.”
In fact, their kids were part of Snyder’s proposal in 2016. On Instagram, Kinsey recalled the happy day, explaining that her daughter led her to the backyard and directed her to sit on a blanket by their pool.
“His sons brought me flowers and then he came around the corner with a ring,” she continued. “He had called my mom and asked for her blessing…that would have made my Dad so happy. He proposed and I said yes. The ring is an emerald…all three of our kids’ birthstone. The kids made me cards and pictures and I cried. I cried that happy ugly cry.”
More recently, Kinsey described her husband as a “fantastic father.” In an April 2024 interview with her The Office costar Rainn Wilson, she spoke about her grief after her father died.
“I had realized that Father’s Day was really difficult for me,” she said. “I think, before I married Josh, I just was able to be like, ‘OK, I don’t really have to go through the motions of Father’s Day anymore,’ because that was my dad’s day. And now I’m married to someone who is a fantastic father, and it’s a bittersweet thing celebrating this wonderful person and, at the same day, missing my own dad on that day.”
