On November 11, Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace, who met and fell in love on the set of the Hope Valley-set series, announced some exciting family news. Wallace is pregnant with the couple’s first child.
“We can’t wait to meet you, baby♥️ Premiering 2026,” Wallace and McGarry’s joint Instagram caption read. The Landman star showed off her baby bump in the photo as McGarry sweetly cradled her bump. The couple stood in front of a sparkling Christmas tree. Talk about standing on brand for Hallmark — even with a pregnancy announcement! The actors didn’t reveal an exact due date or the baby’s sex just yet.

McGarry and Wallace met when they joined the beloved Hallmark series in Season 6. McGarry plays Mountie Nathan Grant, while Wallace plays Fiona Miller. They also starred in the Hallmark movies Feeling Butterflies and later My Grown-Up Christmas. Wallace has been busy filming the first two seasons of Landman, which returns for Season 2 on November 16, but she was able to return as Fiona for the When Calls the Heart Season 12 finale.
Their fellow Hallmark stars quickly sent their congratulations in the comments section. Erin Krakow, who is a close friend of the couple and McGarry’s onscreen love interest, said, “I can’t wait to snuggle this little McGarry!!!” Lacey Chabert, wrote, “The most wonderful news! So happy for you!!!” Jana Kramer, another one of McGarry’s Hallmark costars, commented, “AHHHHHHHHHH🙌🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️. CONGRATS!”
McGarry announced that he and Wallace had married in September 2024. “I owe a lot to When Calls the Heart for not only helping my career and giving me a job and meeting all my friends, but meeting Kayla, meeting my wife, it’s been the most special part of being on that show,” McGarry told Swooon earlier this year.
