The Sidelined crew wasted no time heading back to set for Sidelined 2: Intercepted. The highly anticipated sequel, premiering November 27 on Tubi, will follow Drayton (Noah Beck) and Dallas (Siena Agudong) as they move on from high school and kickstart their college years.
Beck and Agudong were in the Swooon studio to talk all things Sidelined 2 and dished out some set superlatives. The costars sat down to name the person who is most likely to be late to set, break out their dance moves, become the family chef, and more.
First, we asked the stars who is most likely to break character. Beck is shocked when Agudong says his name, but she follows up by saying that she had “a really bad break of character” in the last movie. Ultimately, Beck agreed that he’s most likely to break character. “I just like to play,” he says.
Beck brings up a scene where his costar couldn’t stay in the moment for a hilarious reason. “Noah’s stomach was going off over and over again,” Agudong explains. She was lying on his stomach and “couldn’t even hear [Beck’s] lines” because his stomach was so loud. Beck reminds her that he didn’t eat a “big lunch” that day, so it was out of his control.
When asked who is most likely to forget to text back, Beck points at Agudong, but she doesn’t agree. “You think it’s me?” Beck wonders. Agudong replies, “You’re good at hearting things,” which prompts Beck to (very accurately) explain his texting strategy, specifically around the heart and thumbs up reactions. (He’s right. There is a big difference between them.)
As for who is most likely to fall in love at first sight, both Beck and Agudong are torn. “I’d like to believe that believe in that, but I don’t know,” Beck says. However, the actor makes sure to note, “I think we both are hopeless romantics, though.” That’s the spirit!
