Both professionals have been staples on DWTS ever since and will be featured in the show’s holiday special, Dancing With the Holidays, on December 2. But is their relationship going strong outside of the ballroom? Scroll down for the latest.

“This intimate vow renewal was one we’ve always dreamed of having,” Karagach wrote on Instagram. “Watching our daughter walk down the aisle, our best friends at our sides, and my OG maid of honor from our wedding and childhood best friend officiate was truly out of a fairytale. A dream come true.”

Prior to getting pregnant with Nikita, Karagach had a miscarriage in July 2022 at five weeks gestation. “If it was one day, or a week, or five months, or three months, or one month, or whatever the timeline was, like, it was still a loss for me, and it was a huge loss,” Karagach said on Good Morning America. “It was a baby, you know. So it was something we’ve wanted and pictured ourselves [with].”

She credited Pashkov with helping her get out of her “lowest low,” which she experienced after the pregnancy loss. “He was obviously grieving with me, and it wasn’t easy to talk about at the moment, but he got me out of a really bad place,” the pro dancer admitted.

How did Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov meet?

Karagach and Pashkov had the same dance coaches, which is how they first met in 2008. “My previous [professional] partner went to Dancing With the Stars, so I was looking for a new partner,” Pashkov told Dance Sport Info in 2017. “My Standard coach said to me I should try to dance with Daniella.”

Because of the age difference between the two (more on that below), Pashkov was skeptical. “My coach said, ‘Doesn’t matter, she is a right partner for you,'” Pashkov explained. “And that was it. I called her up and I asked her to dance with me.”

After a 20-minute tryout, they both knew it was a partnership that was meant to be, and they started dating just a few months later.

Pashkov proposed on New Year’s Day 2012 and the couple tied the knot in July 2014.

What is Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov’s age difference?

There is a six-and-a-half year age difference between Pashkov and Karagach. He was born in May 1986, while she was born in December 1992.

When they started dancing together, Karagach was just 15 years old, and Pashkov was 22. They became romantically involved when she turned 16, according to the Dance Sport Info interview.

“We started dancing together on the 7th of December, and my birthday was December, 26, when I turned 16,” Karagach shared. “On January 1, we started dating. It is funny because my mum, just before the tryout, was asking, ‘What if you start liking him? What if you start having feelings for him? ‘And I was like, ‘No way, he is so old! It’s never going to happen.'”
