Post-The Summer I Turned Pretty and pre-My Life With the Walter Boys Season 3, Tell Me Softly has arrived to fill in the sibling love triangle gap. Culpa Mia author Mercedes Ron has a new romance movie adaptation on Prime Video, this time revolving around high school student Kami (Alicia Falcó) and the Di Bianco brothers (Fernando Lindez and Diego Vidales).

If you’re here wanting to spoil the ending for yourself, you probably already know that. There are three books in Ron’s Tell Me trilogy, which begins with bad boy Thiago (Lindez) and protective Taylor (Vidales) unexpectedly returning to Kami’s life seven years after a tragedy. Naturally, the first book and movie leave the trio’s fate up in the air — but what do the books say? Keep reading to find out whether Kami ends up with Thiago or Taylor.

Who does Kami end up with in Tell Me Softly?

The first movie, as you likely remember, shows Kami choosing neither brother. Though she finds a spark with Taylor throughout the movie, Kami kisses the closed-off Thiago once he stops blaming her for the car accident that killed his sister. She says that “it’s always been [him]” from the time they were children. Still, Kami hesitates in the middle of their makeout session, making Thiago question whether she’s in love with Taylor, too. When the credits roll, it’s still pretty much anyone’s game.

Rest assured, it won’t be a “she picks herself” situation if the movies follow Ron’s books. The final two installments in the Tell Me trilogy aren’t available in English quite yet, so we couldn’t read them for ourselves — but plenty of Spanish-speaking readers have already revealed the ending on social media. After doing some investigating, it appears that the older brother does get the girl.

That means you’d be right if you suspected that Thiago and Kami are endgame. (Unfortunately for those who found themselves rooting for the less-toxic younger brother throughout the first movie.) We couldn’t scrounge up many more details than that, but considering how angsty the first movie is, it’s probably safe to say that the rest of Kami and Thiago’s journey won’t be an easy one.

In the meantime, mark your calendars for when the last two books come out in English next year. That way, you can find out exactly how the love triangle plays out before the sequel, which has already been greenlit, hits screens. Let us know who you think is the better pick for Kami in the comments below!
