HGTV’s Jenny & Dave Marrs Reveal Secret to Their 20-Year Marriage

Although Jenny Marrs and Dave Marrs dealt with some tough losses in 2025, they also had a lot to celebrate. The couple reached their 20-year wedding anniversary in April and had a vow renewal with their children for the occasion.
“I married so far above my pay grade, and she still lets me hang around,” Dave joked in an interview with Swooon. The couple also opened up about how they’ve been able to make their relationship last for more than two decades (they started dating in 2002).
“We’ve just always kind of done life together,” Jenny shared. “Dave’s my best friend. I can’t imagine not working together in all areas.” The Fixer to Fabulous star also said that working together professionally hasn’t hurt the relationship.
“I think working together is actually really good because we understand each other’s day and what the craziness of our days look like,” Jenny dished. “We just have fun together. We also do travel together. We travel with the kids, we love to travel, but we also get away on our own. Not a ton, but we do when we can. Even when it’s for work, [like when] we had to come to California, and we went out to dinner, we made it a fun evening. We just have fun together, and we have fun at work, too.”
Dave noted that he and Jenny are “lucky” because they’ve been working in the contracting space since before they got married in 2005. “We were able to figure out a lot of the kinks of working together, 15 years before the show started to come along,” he said. “When we start a project, we both love to sit down and imagine what it could be, and giving a home back to homeowners is like Christmas morning. We get to give this gift to people and I feel blessed every day to have her beside me doing it, but to also be in the field that we are.”
