“We are deeply grateful for the warm blessings and unwavering support you’ve shown the couple as they embark on this precious new journey together,” their agency, AM Entertainment, wrote on Instagram to announce their nuptials. “Both actors look forward to returning your love by continuing to deliver their best performances on screen in the future.”

How long have Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-a been together?
The celebrity couple’s wedding comes over a decade after they met for the first time in 2015, per The Korea Herald. A few years into their private romance, Kim was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer, as announced by his agency in 2017, and Kim underwent treatment and recovery for over two years while Shin stood by his side. When the news of his diagnosis was announced, the actress’ statement via her agency said: “I am currently helping Kim Woo-bin get better while he is under treatment.”
Both actors didn’t take on any new projects during that time, with Shin not returning to the screen until the 2019 political drama Chief of Staff. At that point, updates on the couple’s relationship were rare, though they were spotted on an Australia trip in 2019. A year later, Shin revealed that her then-boyfriend was planning on returning to acting. “Since we have the same career and we support each other, we say, ‘Hwaiting!’ to each other,” she told Soompi. “I also hope Kim Woo-bin does well since he’s making his return. We’re cheering each other on.”

The two actors, who starred in 2022’s Our Blues together, first met in 2015. Both ambassadors for the same fashion label, they crossed paths while filming a commercial. “Despite their packed schedule, the two stars actively took part in the shoot so we really enjoyed shooting,” said an official from the brand, per K-pop Herald. They confirmed their relationship in July 2015.
