The Golden Globes red carpet took us all the way to East Texas with The Hunting Wives’ lead actress Brittany Snow teasing new information about the show’s sexy second season.
In an interview on the carpet with E!, Snow was asked the one question everyone wants to know: “Is [Malin Akerman’s] wig coming back [for Season 2]?”
While Snow couldn’t reveal anything about her costar’s hair for the next season, she did tease something even better. According to Snow, fans can expect Season 2 to be even spicier than Season 1, which already made it onto Swooon‘s Sexiest Shows of 2025 List, alongside Heated Rivalry, The Summer I Turned Pretty, and more.
When asked if Season 2 of The Hunting Wives will be as steamy as Season 1, Snow teased, “Oh, it’s just as… It’s more steamy, actually.”
According to the star, Season 2 filming is underway, with a sexy on-set soundtrack. She revealed, “We filmed some scenes. We played some Reneé Rapp. We got into a groove.”

As for the plot of Season 2, which has been highly anticipated by fans after the wild Season 1 finale, Snow teased that Season 2 could surprise fans even more than the first. She explained, “A lot of things happen this season that are very shocking.”
While we’re certain that Season 2 will be just as dramatic and romance-filled as Season 1, Snow explained, “I will say [Season 2’s] going to leave people very angry.” That being said, Snow amended that fans will be angry in a “sexy way.” Just the way we like it!
The Hunting Wives follows a group of conservative, East Texan socialites. Snow’s character, Sophie, moves to town with her husband and gets caught up with the group of wild women. While these ladies may seem like perfect housewives, don’t be fooled; they’ve got plenty of drama brewing under the surface. Especially, when it comes to Margo Banks (Akerman), a Republican political candidate’s wife, and Sophie (Snow), the liberal woman she seduces.
