Like Rick Riordan’s book series of the same name, Percy Jackson and the Olympians is taking its time when it comes to romance. Percy (Walker Scobell) and Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) have had some moments that could be interpreted as romantic, especially in Season 2, but we all know Percabeth is about that slow burn. Rest assured, if the show continues to follow the broad strokes of the books, they will end up together.

When is Percy and Annabeth’s first kiss?

After Annabeth gives Percy a post-chariot race cheek kiss in Sea of Monsters, their first full lip-lock comes two books later. In The Battle of the Labyrinth, Annabeth kisses Percy in a moment of danger at St. Mount Helens.

When do Percy and Annabeth get together?

Despite their obvious underlying feelings, Percy and Annabeth don’t become a couple until the fifth and final book in the main series, The Last Olympian, when they seal their victory against Kronos with an underwater kiss. We weren’t kidding about that slow burn!

Do Percy and Annabeth end up together?

Since they make it official at the end of the main storyline, Percy and Annabeth do end up together. While we don’t dive into the sequel series, they’re still going strong after The Last Olympian, just in case you need some extra reassurance. Percabeth is endgame.

By a clear mile, Percy’s strongest connection is with Annabeth in the books, but he does have a bit of a thing with Rachel Elizabeth Dare, a mortal with prophetic sight who’s introduced in the third book, The Titan’s Curse. Rachel and Percy’s flirtation picks up in The Battle of the Labyrinth, their deepening connection slowing Percabeth’s momentum even further. Rachel even kisses Percy twice in The Last Olympian, but they never become anything more, and Rachel becomes an Oracle.

We also have to mention Calypso, brief as her interaction with Percy is in The Battle of the Labyrinth. When Percy ends up on the exiled Titan’s island, there’s mutual interest, and she tries to convince him to stay. Alas, Percy opts to go save the world instead.

Do Annabeth and Luke have feelings for each other?

Percy isn’t the only one with a rival love interest. Well, technically, Annabeth’s feelings for Luke are one-sided in the main series, and they’re challenged by his betrayal and alliance with Kronos. In The Last Olympian, Luke asks if Annabeth loved him as he dies, but she claims she only saw him as a brother. Annabeth only admits to having once harbored a crush on Luke in a book from the sequel series, The Mark of Athena.

Clarisse La Rue & Chris Rodriguez

When do Clarisse and Chris get together?

Clarisse’s (Dior Goodjohn) feelings for Chris (Kevin Chacon) start to emerge in The Battle of the Labyrinth. Chris, who’s revealed to have been a follower of Luke and Kronos, succumbed to madness when he was trapped in the labyrinth. Clarisse takes care of him in the aftermath, revealing her vulnerable side. He’s cured by Mr. D in the end. Once he’s turned his back on the Titan army, they hold hands by the campfire, signaling that they’ve become a couple.

Do Clarisse and Chris end up together?

Clarisse and Chris share a kiss going into the final battle against Kronos in The Last Olympian, so yes, they do end up together.

When do Charles and Silena get together?

Charles and Selina are two demigods who have yet to be cast in the show, but they have the most tragic romance in the books (though many fans think that Silena and her best friend, Clarisse, had unsaid feelings for each other). Charles and Silena’s romance begins in the spinoff book The Demigod Files, so their first appearance as a couple occurs in The Last Olympian. They start dating sometime between the fourth and fifth book.

Do Charles and Silena end up together?

That tragedy we mentioned? Both of them die. Charles goes first in battle during The Last Olympian, right before the final showdown. Silena, who is revealed to have been an undercover member of the Titan army, is killed in the Battle of Manhattan when she changes sides. She redeems herself by changing the tide of the battle in Percy and his friends’ favor. She and Charles both earn a place in Elysium, where they reunite in the afterlife. So, technically, they end up together.

When do Sally and Paul get together?

See ya, Gabe! After Percy’s mom (Virginia Kull) kills her abusive ex-husband (Timm Sharp) with Medusa’s head, she finds new love in The Titan’s Curse. Paul, an English teacher, and Sally meet at a writing seminar in The Titan’s Curse.

Do Sally and Paul end up together?

Paul asks if Percy approves of him proposing to Sally in The Battle of the Labyrinth, and they tie the knot between the fourth and fifth books. They remain together through the follow-up series, which sees them have a daughter together.

When do Grover and Juniper get together?

Grover (Aryan Simhadri) winds up forming a crush on Artemis (yep, the Goddess herself), but then he meets a wood nymph named Juniper. Juniper is introduced as Grover’s sweet girlfriend in The Battle of the Labyrinth.

Do Grover and Juniper end up together?

Though they spend time apart once the war with Kronos gets underway, Juniper and Grover get their happy ending. When Grover is appointed Lord of the Wild in The Last Olympian, his romance remains intact.
