‘Bachelor’s Kelsey Anderson Gives Major Timeline Update on Joey Graziadei Wedding
What To Know
- Kelsey Anderson and Joey Graziadei are planning for a 2027 wedding.
- The bride-to-be gave an update on their timeline and revealed the next box they’re going to check in the planning process.
- The couple met on Season 28 of The Bachelor in 2024 and are not rushing to tie the knot.
It’s been a while since we’ve gotten a wedding planning update from Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson, but the bride-to-be changed that when she stopped by the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast on Thursday, January 22. Anderson was the first guest to sit down with new hosts Charity Lawson and Rachel Recchia on the pod.
The ladies had the ultimate girl chat, during which Anderson spilled new info about her upcoming nuptials. It’s been more than two years since she and Graziadei got engaged while filming Season 28 of The Bachelor in fall 2023.
Anderson confirmed that she and her fiancé are still eyeing a 2027 wedding, although they still don’t have a date or location. However, she revealed that they looked at “four different venues in the past couple of weeks,” which has given them an idea of what they do and don’t like. “We’re hoping to have a venue locked in by next month,” she teased.
The location is still unclear, as Anderson noted that she and Graziadei are looking at venues “everywhere,” including California, Georgia, and Philadelphia. “We could get married wherever,” she explained. “Because it’s curated with the little details. I’ll be way more hands-on with that.”
When it comes to a wedding dress, Anderson still hasn’t started the shopping process yet and admitted she was shocked to learn how far in advance it’s recommended for brides to start looking. “When we initially got our wedding planner and started this whole process, I felt like we had so much time, and then in these past couple months, it’s like … no, we actually have no time,” she continued.
(For the record, Lawson, who got engaged to Dotun Olubeko on The Bachelorette in 2023, already has her dress, although she’s keeping tight-lipped about the timing of their wedding.)
Meanwhile, Anderson confirmed that she and Graziadei will have a bridal party and groomsmen, but won’t be requiring the members of the wedding party to stand up at the altar with them. “He has two sisters, I have two brothers, so there’s already a lot of family members right off the bat,” she pointed out. “So I’m not 100% sure [yet].”
The Bachelorette, Season 22 Premiere, Sunday, March 22, 8/7c, ABC
