Back in December, Swooon sat down with 90 Day Fiancé star Greta Lin to break down her split with her ex-fiancé, Matthew, during Season 7 of The Other Way. While Matthew clearly felt blindsided by their breakup, which came just a few days after Greta touched down in England, Greta revealed to Swooon that they had actually had a full off-camera conversation about Greta not loving him anymore prior to their split.
Now that Greta and Matthew have finally reunited on the Tell All stage — via video call, at least — and Matthew made it clear that he is seeing someone new, Greta has exclusively revealed to Swooon where she stands after their split. From where she’s living to who she’s seeing now, this is one update you’re not going to want to miss.
Looking back at their relationship, Greta explained, “I think Matthew and I really, really matured due to the outcome of this season.” She added, “I think this breakup was one of the best things to have happened to both me and him.” Seeing as Matthew revealed that he’s in a new relationship at the Tell All, we’d assume that he agrees.
When we last saw Greta, she was stranded in England, with no home to return to in the States. Today, she is still living and now working in the UK. She revealed to Swooon, “After I ended [our relationship], I kind of became a nomad, for a while. I was working remotely, and was kind of between the U.S. and the UK a lot. And then I secured a work visa in England. So then, I officially moved back to England, and I’ve been so happy. I really feel at home here.”

Now that she’s permanently planted her roots in England, Greta also revealed to Swooon that, as of December 2025, she is currently seeing someone, at least casually. She explained, “I am seeing someone. It’s not official, but he’s so wonderful. It’s kind of one of those feelings where you respect the other person so much. He’s so affectionate, and so attentive, and just so intelligent, and also very humble. I feel really lucky to be seeing him in general.”
While she didn’t want to reveal who she’s seeing just yet — after all, they aren’t official right now — she told Swooon, “He’s from London and still lives here.” While her previous relationships, including the one with Matthew, were more of a “heat of passion type situation,” she explained, “It feels like I’m actually dating as an adult. It’s the first time where we’re taking our time and getting to know each other. In a lot of ways, it just feels really right.”
Seeing as this is Greta’s 90 Day Fiancé debut and we’re already eager to find out where the animal rights advocate will go next, we had to ask if she has any plans to return to the franchise. She told Swooon, “I wouldn’t say no outright. I would just have to make sure it wouldn’t really interfere with my career, and I think that is kind of the main concern I have at the moment.”
Now that Greta’s dating another UK native, she revealed, “I guess I could qualify for the show in the future if this relationship works out, but I don’t think he would be on it. He’s actually been on reality TV before, but in a different situation.” While we were eager to find out if Greta was dating someone straight out of the Love Island UK Villa, she told us, “It’s a show here in the UK. You wouldn’t recognize it, but yeah, but I’m not sure he would do this show.”
