’90 Day: The Single Life’ Preview: Gino’s Return to Dating Takes an Awkward Turn (VIDEO)
What To Know
- Gino Palazzolo is back on the dating scene in Season 5 of 90 Day: The Single Life.
- In Swooon‘s exclusive preview of the premiere, Gino heads to a singles kickball event.
“What the hell is going on here?” asks Sarah, a woman who just met 90 Day Fiancé‘s Gino Palazzolo for the first time.
Now that Gino is back on the market, he’s joined the Season 5 cast of 90 Day: The Single Life alongside other fan favorite 90 Day alums like Colt Johnson and Pedro Jimeno, hoping to find love after explosive breakups. In Swooon‘s exclusive clip of the Season 5 premiere, Gino kickstarts his journey by attending a singles kickball event.
At the event, Gino is quick to share why he is single today, proving to have a little too much baggage for single ladies Amy and Sarah. He tells them, “I’m not divorced yet. I’m married, but separated. We don’t live together.”
Of course, fans will recall that Gino is technically still married to his ex-wife, Jasmine Pineda, despite the fact that she has moved to a different state with her new partner, Matthew Branistareanu, and their baby, Matilda, during 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 9.
According to Gino’s potential flame, Amy, this is quite the turnoff. She explains, “I don’t do well with someone who’s still technically married.” Sarah then tells viewers, “He seems so nervous. He’s shaking. His voice is cracking. What the hell is going on here? What is he hiding?”
Spilling all the beans, Gino then goes on to reveal why he’s seeking a divorce from Jasmine. “So basically what happened is five months after our marriage, she met a guy, a random guy at the gym, and cheated on me with him,” Gino reveals. “And then while she was married to me, she got pregnant [with his baby].”
In a confessional, it’s clear that Gino realizes he’s not exactly laying on the charm. He tells viewers, “What the hell am I saying here? I’m supposed to be telling them something that’s going to attract them to me, not telling them about my nightmarish, miserable relationship that I just went through. I think it’s kind of turning off the ladies here.”
Once Gino tries to pivot towards making a connection with Amy and Sarah, it’s clear he’s a little too late. One whispers to the other, “Is he for real?”
“I knew meeting women in person would probably be difficult,” Gino shares, “but how did this all end up in such a disaster?”
