‘Shifting Gears’: Should Riley Choose Gabe or Andy in Season 3? (POLL)

Was anyone else absolutely gagged by the Season 2 finale of Shifting Gears?
In case you missed it, Riley (Kat Dennings) was dating hot single dad, Andy (Jesse Williams), until she shared an almost-kiss with her will-they/won’t-they connection, Gabe (Seann William Scott). While Riley decided to break up with Andy and finally pursue a connection with Gabe, he was still dating his girlfriend, Amelie (Carson Fagerbakke).
Fast-forward to the end of the episode: Andy shows up at Riley’s house, telling her that she made a mistake breaking things off with him. As he tells her, “Look, you’re making a mistake. We’re good together,” Gabe runs in to tell Riley, “I did it! I broke up with Amelie.”
Clearly, we’re going to be thinking about that jaw-dropping cliffhanger until Season 3 of the ABC sitcom rolls around, but until then, we’d love to know who you think Riley should be with.
On one hand, we have Andy, a stunning guy that everyone can’t help but love. Sure, during Episode 12, he proved he is absolutely horrible at karaoke. But, honestly, it’s endearing to be bad at something. There, we said it. On the other hand, we have Gabe, who’s been in Riley’s life forever. The Luke Danes to her Lorelai Gilmore. While things have never worked out in the past, it’s clear this time could be different.
While Shifting Gears hasn’t been renewed for Season 3 just yet, with a cliffhanger like this, the Tim Allen-led show already has viewers dying for a renewal. The prospect of seeing more of Jesse Williams’ horrific karaoke alone has us begging for more!
