Who Is Mike Tirico’s Wife? Inside the Sports Broadcaster’s Marriage
February is about to be one busy month for Mike Tirico. Not only is the sports broadcaster serving as the host of primetime Olympics coverage on NBC, but he’ll also be calling play-by-play for the Super Bowl on the same network.
Tirico joined NBC Sports in 2016 and has been a leader in the network’s sports coverage ever since. He has had an illustrious career in sports journalism since graduating from Syracuse University in 1988 with a dual degree in political science and broadcast journalism.

Who is Mike Tirico’s wife?
Debbie currently focuses on non-profit work. She is a YMCA director and helps with other local charitable organizations.
In college, Debbie studied finance and graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University’s School of Management. She worked at Carrier Corporation after college, then became vice president of business development at HSB, an engineering consulting business, in 1997 and worked there for two years. Debbie also has her MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
She is a former athlete, having played on the women’s basketball team at Syracuse for four seasons. In 1989, she was one of the team’s captains.
How did Mike Tirico and his wife meet?
Debbie and Mike met when they were both students at Syracuse University in the late 1980s. She was a member of the women’s basketball team, while he was involved in the school’s athletics due to his work in student media, including the sports radio station WAER.
Mike graduated in 1988, and Debbie followed one year later in 1989. After college, they tied the knot in 1991.
Where do Mike Tirico and his wife live?
Mike and Debbie live in Ann Arbor, Michigan. They moved there in 1999 to be closer to Debbie’s family, as she is from the midwestern state.
On the SmartLess podcast in 2024, Mike explained that he works most of the week from his house in Michigan. “Usually for Sunday Night Football, we’ll travel on Fridays,” he revealed, which means his weekends are usually spent out of state.
“It’s a lot,” Mike admitted, referring to the traveling back and forth. “But I’ve come to love America. I love the fact that I can be dropped in, like, 40 cities in America and I don’t need a map.” He also said that he considers himself a midwesterner, despite growing up on the East Coast.
Does Mike Tirico have kids?
Yes, Mike and Debbie have two children, a son named Jordan and a daughter named Camryn, who goes by Cammi.

Per his LinkedIn, Jordan works as a venture analyst for Wasserman in New York City. He graduated from Stanford University with a degree in political science in 2023.
Meanwhile, Cammi has worked for the Chicago Bears since 2024. She was an analyst and communications associate at first and is now a business strategist for the team, according to LinkedIn. Cammi earned her college degree from Northwestern University in business and international studies in 2024.
