‘Love Is Blind’: Kevan Shares Details About His Reunion With Keya at Season 10 Party

The Ohio Pod Squad brought the drama in the latest batch of Love Is Blind episodes. After vacationing together in Mexico, the couples returned to their day-to-day lives. They all met up again in Episode 9, and a few participants who left the pods single joined the party.
Kevan Jones and Keya Kellum were among them. During the 10-day experiment, Kevan found himself in a love triangle with Keya and Tyler Lanier, the latter of whom didn’t appear at the gathering. The show didn’t provide much insight into Kevan and Keya’s post-pods reunion, but Kevan revealed some details to Swooon.
“It was good,” he said. “We had already had that closure in the pods, and there wasn’t really much else to talk about in that sense. I more so was just happy to see all the boys and just see the love… I know there was some other drama stuff going on, but I really wasn’t involved in any of that. I was more so just a bystander.”
Kevan had seen Keya on Instagram before the party, but it was their first time meeting face-to-face.”I mean, s**t, she looked great,” Kevan recalled. “She was stunning, beautiful. I mean, that is the one thing I will say when you get out of the pods, is like, when you actually see in real life… Like, ‘Oh my god.’ Like, ‘Damn, Kevan, OK.'”
They didn’t have a conversation about what they went through in the pods. Ultimately, Keya broke things off with Kevan on the eve of engagement day. “I didn’t want to talk her ears off or elaborate on, you know,” he said. “I feel like our conversation in the pods was a great closure on that chapter, in all honesty.”
Kevan hasn’t met Tyler in person since filming ended. “We talked briefly when we first got out, but I haven’t really talked to her since,” he said. “I would love to reach out, but after so much time passed, and then now the show’s out, I just feel like it just wouldn’t feel natural, and so I didn’t want to just reach out for the sake of reaching out.”
He added, “And then, I had some personal stuff I was dealing with in the backend, too, so I wasn’t being super social, really, in general.”
Regardless, Kevan is looking forward to seeing Tyler at the Season 10 reunion, which hadn’t yet filmed when we spoke on February 13. “I’m pretty sure she’s going to be looking stunning, amazing, and just every bit of why Tyler is an amazing woman,” he said.
