In the latest episode of That’s Awesome with Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson, Liz’s current romantic situation was discussed. The love triangle between Ric, Liz, and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) has been slowly building on the soap, and Burton, whose character has a romantic history with Liz, has some opinions about it.
Bradford Anderson asked Burton who he’s rooting for between Ric and Dante. “Not Ric,” Burton quickly said. Anderson followed up with, “You don’t trust Ric?” Burton replied, “Who does?” Jason has never had the best relationship with Ric, and Burton noted that the “greatest scene on daytime history was me beating Ric up in the garage.”

Burton did point out, “If it’s Ric who’s changed, then from Steve’s standpoint, I guess it could be a different result.”
Despite Burton’s opinion about Ric as a character, he believes it’s “always good to have the triangles.” At the end of the day, he’s “rooting for Dante” when it comes to this particular love triangle.

The soap star, who is set to return for General Hospital’s 16,000th episode after a short break, had nothing but praise for Dante. “Good guy for Jason. Stepped up with his kid. He’s a good guy, good man,” Burton said.
Burton acknowledged the time that Jason headbutted Dante and how Dante didn’t hold it against Jason. “He was still looking out for me even though I did that,” the actor said.
