General Hospital star Steve Burton has been relishing the quality time he’s spent with his wife, Michelle Burton (née Lundstrom), and their blended family. The couple recently celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary with a special trip — just the two of them.
Steve has confirmed he’ll be heading back to work in Los Angeles in June, so he’s making the most of his remaining break time. Michelle shared a glimpse of their romantic getaway in Aruba.
Michelle, in a joint post with her soap actor husband, posted a carousel of photos from their vacation. “Anniversary in Aruba,” Michelle captioned the post. She included beachside photos — including Steve in a Hawaiian shirt! — and sunny snapshots in the ocean. The couple stayed at the St. Regis hotel in Aruba. They honeymooned in Maui last year.
Naturally, Steve and Michelle had to partake in some incredible culinary experiences. Michelle is a chef, after all! “Our TOP favorite restaurants in Aruba! We were blown away by the culinary talent, quality and food! Beyond amazing. Some of the best bites we’ve ever had!! In no particular order, they are all AMAZING 10/10. Food & Service,” Michelle captioned her video.

On their anniversary, Michelle penned a heartwarming message about her romance with the General Hospital star: “The kind of love that heals you, hallelujah / A marriage filled with gentle kindness, hallelujah / The sweetest heart of gold, hallelujah / Laughing with my best friend, hallelujah / Everything we prayed for, hallelujah.”
Steve recently confirmed that he’d be returning to the GH set in June. He pointed out that the question he gets asked the most these days is if he’s returning to the show. “If I am coming back. When I am coming back. And yes, I am coming back to the show. I start in June, so I’ll be back for sure,” he said on his That’s Awesome podcast with Bradford Anderson.
