Who is Cody Kearsley?
The 35-year-old is an actor, filmmaker, instructor, and public speaker. He made his acting debut in the 2016 short film Borealis. He then made his directorial debut with the 2024 short film Breathe. He is the founder of the production company Persephone Pictures. Kearsley is the founding member and artistic director of Vagrant Players Theatre Society in Vancouver, per his bio. In addition to his work in front of and behind the camera, Kearsley is also an acting coach.

Kearsley hails from British Columbia, Canada. He is of Métis heritage and spoke openly with Penticton Western News about wanting to “showcase new writers and new actors, especially in the First Nations community because I’m First Nations as well.”
Who did Cody Kearsley play on Riverdale?
The actor played Moose Mason, a love interest for Kevin Keller (Casey Cott), in The CW series. He appeared throughout Seasons 1 to 6 of Riverdale. Moose struggled with coming out, and his experience of telling his father led him to leave town and join the army. When the show jumped forward seven years, Moose returned to Riverdale and became a P.E. teacher at the high school. Kearsley’s last appearance was in the Season 6 finale.
What else has Cody Kearsley been in?
In addition to Riverdale, Kearsley is best known for his role as Turbo in Netflix’s short-lived series Daybreak. He also played Wallace in Guilty Party.
