Who was Missé Beqiri’s brother?
Alex was born in Sweden but eventually moved to the U.K. He was reportedly involved in the music business and founded the record label 20/20 Records, although the company’s website is no longer active.
Alex was 36 years old at the time of his death in 2019.
How did Missé Beqiri’s brother die?
Alex died after being shot in Battersea, London, on December 24, 2019. He was pronounced dead at the scene after police were called.
Anis Hemissi, the man who killed Alex, received a life sentence with a minimum of 35 years in prison, per Daily Mail. He left the U.K. the day after the murder but was arrested upon his return.
Anis was hired as an assassin to kill Missé’s brother. Another man involved was found guilty of manslaughter, while two others received charges for removing evidence. The hit was planned for six months, according to officers who spoke in at Anis’ court hearing.

The court found that Alex’s death was an organized hit that happened as part of “a tit-for-tat rivalry between two very significant organized crime groups.” Beqiri was accused of being a kingpin in a Swedish drug gang “involved in large-scale importation and supply of drugs,” although his wife denied this claim in Anis’ court hearing.
“Flamur Beqiri, a Swedish citizen with Albanian origins, was suspected of involvement in international drug dealing and other serious crime,” the justice said while delivering Anis’ guilty verdict. She also added, “Anis Hemissi, on the evidence, there is no doubt that, aged just 22, with no previous convictions, in 2019 you were a gun for hire.” She called it “international crime at its most brutal.”
Was Missé Beqiri’s brother married?
Yes, Alex was married to Debora Krasniqi at the time of his death. They got married in Lake Como in October 2018. Debora witnessed her husband being shot and killed. The shooting took place “just yards” from their home, according to officials.
Debora is a lawyer with “extensive experience in litigation and corporate law,” according to her bio. She has been working as a solicitor at ADG since 2023.
Alex and Debora met on Facebook, she told Wedding Style Magazine after their nuptials. “When we initially met, I don’t think we thought, ‘Wow, this is my husband/wife,'” Debora explained. “But there was always something special about our connection and bond.”
The two started as friends but “would spend endless hours on the phone.” During that time, Debora “became best friends” with Alex’s sister. It was at Missé’s 2014 wedding where Debora and Alex “fell deeply in love.”
Did Missé Beqiri’s brother have kids?
Yes, Alex had two children with Debora. One of the children was with the couple when Alex was gunned down.
Debora and Alex’s eldest child was already born at the time of their 2018 wedding. She was pregnant with their second baby when they tied the knot.
