Who plays Charlie in Every Year After?
Prime Video has confirmed that Bradway will be stepping into the role of Charlie Florek, alongside Matt Cornett as his younger brother, Sam, and Sadie Soverall as their summertime neighbor, Percy. While the first novel in Fortune’s series follows Sam and Percy’s second-chance romance over the course of many summers and one fateful weekend, Charlie plays a major role in their love story, including being the first to reach out to Percy after the incident.
While Every Year After has not confirmed that a potential Season 2 would follow Charlie’s love story from One Perfect Summer, Fortune did tell Swooon, “I mean, I would love to see Alice and Nan on the screen.”

Who is Michael Bradway?
While Charlie Florek is a Canadian Barry’s Bay local, Bradway is from Staten Island, New York. He was born on December 30, 1998, making him 27 years old today. He is mainly an actor. However, he has a producer credit on the short Side by Side.
On July 17, Bradway posted the Every Year After cast announcement, writing, “Couldn’t be more excited to be your Charlie 🚤.” And yes, before you ask, he is aware of the internet’s Tom Cruise comparisons.
What has Michael Bradway been in before Every Year After?
Bradway is best known for playing firefighter Jack Damon on Chicago Fire. He recently left the series ahead of the 14th season, a major update that was announced soon after the Every Year After casting announcement. He has also appeared in Marked Men as Gabe Davenport and Safe House as Reeves.
