During Season 1 of Netflix’s newest dating show, Age of Attraction, singles headed to a romantic retreat, ready to date across a wide range of ages — 22 to 60, to be exact! While some found connections within their usual age range, others found themselves in relationships with someone 15, 20, or even 30 years older/younger. Are Derrick & Pfeifer still together?
It is currently unclear whether Pfeifer and Derrick are still together today. However, heading into the finale, the duo is still going strong. That being said, Pfeifer has been incredibly active on social media throughout the season and appears to still live in Seattle at this time. Could this mean she never moved to Dallas to be with Derrick, as she planned?
During Episodes 6 and 7, Pfeifer got candid about her apprehension about changing everything in her life for a man. She explained, “This whole time I’ve been telling myself, ‘I’m moving because I wanna move. I’m moving because I don’t wanna be…’ Which is true. I don’t want to be in Seattle. I don’t want to be there, but like, I’m moving to basically be with you. That is the truth of the matter.” Before the experiment, she had told herself that she would never change her life for a man, which has made her feel like she is “betraying” herself.
“I’m like giving up everything,” she told Derrick, “It’s not like you’re not. But, like, I am… Not only leaving everybody and everything I’ve worked for, but I’m also going against my own values to do that. Which is not to say that I’m not going to, or that it’s not going to be worth it. But sitting here, now, I’m like, ‘What the f**k am I doing?'”
How old are Derrick and Pfeifer?
In the promise room, Derrick started by revealing the ages of his sons, saying, “Dominic is 5 and Carter is 15.” He then revealed that he is 43, to which Pfeifer responded, “That’s older than I thought, but I don’t really… I don’t care at all.” She then told him that she is 23 years old after he told her that he assumed she was in her “mid-twenties.”
When did Derrick and Pfeifer start dating?
Derrick and Pfeifer committed to each other in the promise room during Episode 3. There, he told her, “So much aligns for us. Like, it’s been crazy. Like, literally from the jump, like we said, from our speed date, it just felt comfortable with us.” She explained, “Coming here, I never would have thought that I would have found a connection, a, like, great connection… being around some like you is, like, refreshing. It’s nice to be treated well, even if it’s someone you don’t know for very long.”
