‘Summer House’ Love Triangle Drama: Breaking Down the West, Amanda & Ciara Rumors
The internet is abuzz with rumors that drama is brewing between Summer House stars Amanda Batula and Ciara Miller over West Wilson. Amanda and Ciara met in 2020 when the latter joined the cast of the Bravo show, and their friendship has blossomed over the years, particularly in the show’s current season, which is the first without their third musketeer, Paige DeSorbo.
However, as Season 10 is airing, rumors about Amanda’s love life following her separation from Kyle Cooke have been swirling. “I am manifesting a boyfriend, but just a boyfriend. No one who’s looking for anything serious,” Amanda told Marie Claire. “I want to have fun with someone my age or younger, since I’ve always dated older. For now, while I heal, I just want to flirt and make out. To be taken on dates, and just enjoy being hot and happy. I’ll find a husband later down the road—or maybe not.”
Bravo fans have linked her to West, who dated Ciara on Season 8 of Summer House and for a few months afterwards. Things did not end well between the two, although they’ve finally started getting back to an amicable place in Season 10. Could that all be ripped apart amid these new (unconfirmed) rumors? Scroll down for everything we know.
What happened between Amanda Batula and Ciara Miller?
Rumors of drama between Ciara and Amanda began circulating at the end of March when fans noticed that the besties hadn’t been liking each other’s Instagram posts in recent weeks. But the speculation amped up when the ladies filmed separate Amazon Live videos for an appearance they were supposed to make together.
On March 24, Ciara and Amanda were scheduled to host an Amazon Live for OLLY Vitamins together, but they wound up recording their ads separately. A source also told Page Six that the women are feuding because Amanda is allegedly hooking up with West, but this reporting has not been confirmed.
Both Ciara and West have been seen supporting Amanda amid her issues with Kyle on Season 10 of Summer House. In her Marie Claire interview, she praised both of them for having her back. “It would have been a very difficult summer to get through without Ciara,” Amanda shared. “She is one of the kindest, most loving, loyal friends I’ve ever had. She sends me texts out of the blue, reminding me how strong, powerful, smart and kind I am. I don’t think she even realizes how much I need those texts. It’s also meant so much to me how supportive West has been throughout the season, sometimes in ways I wasn’t even aware of when filming. It’s not performative; it’s just really authentic to who West is. He checks Kyle and puts him in his place, and you’ll continue to see him be there for me throughout the season.”
Are Amanda Batula and West Wilson hooking up?
Rumors that Amanda and West were hooking up began at the end of February when fans noticed that they were spending a lot of time hanging out in New York City (albeit in large groups of friends, including, at times, Kyle). On March 5, DeuxMoi reported, “Sources say it’s casual…and if you follow Sunday Spotted you might have noticed West is seen with a different woman weekly in NYC. Still, at a recent event, they were openly flirty, allegedly even holding hands under the table, with Kyle, Amanda’s ex-husband, right there.”
At the time, the pair’s Summer House costar KJ Dillard told Swooon, “They’re friends! It’s so wild to me. People can’t just post photos together? People will run with anything.”

A few days later, Kyle appeared on Watch What Happens Live and addressed the rumors about his estranged wife. “I thought it was kind of outrageous for it to go as long as it has in the news cycle is kind of shocking,” he told Andy Cohen. “But no, I don’t think there’s any merit to it.”
Meanwhile amid the latest reports about Ciara and Amanda allegedly feuding, West stopped by WWHL and insisted he and Amanda are just friends. “She’s single now and I gotta show her the streets a little bit,” he explained. “If it’s not clear, that’s a very important person to me, and I care about her a lot. That’s a friend. Hope that’s clear.”
He also pointed out that he’s not the only one who’s been romantically linked to the swimwear designer. “She’s single now, and it’s happened to other people she’s hanging out with,” West added.
Amanda has not directly addressed the rumors, but she did respond to an Instagram comment that said, “West is a safe boy bestie for Amanda because they’d never date. He’s so much fun, he cares about his friends and they have mutual friends to hang out with all the time.” Amanda replied, “THANK YOUUUUUUU.”
Why did Ciara Miller and West Wilson split?
After their summer 2023 romance on Summer House, Ciara and West split that December. The relationship ended when she found out he had been talking to other girls while they were seeing each other.
Ciara was initially hesitant to get serious with West because she didn’t think he was ready to commit, but after summer ended, he took her to a wedding and to meet his family. “I don’t think we walked around saying boyfriend/girlfriend, but, I mean, basically, we hung out every day,” West said at the Season 8 reunion. He also clarified that he stopped talking to other girls “toward the end of [the] fall.”
It was West’s first season on Summer House, and he admitted that the attention from the show is ultimately what held to him not fully committing to Ciara, as he didn’t just want to be known as her “newbie” boyfriend. “I’ve done a couple watch parties where people f**king show up and do whatever. That’s pictures and it’s … the Bravo fanbase is all women,” he explained. “There’s these random things that I’ve never experienced before. Not temptation, just … is that a s**tty look then to go these watch parties with women?”
The exes got to an amicable place after having dinner following the reunion, but by the time they returned for Season 9 of Summer House in July 2024, things had escalated once again. The new drama stemmed from how West spoke about their relationship in the press, which Ciara said was different than how he spoke to her about things at their dinner a few weeks earlier.
“I don’t need to read an article that ‘we’re not each other’s people’ and [how] it would have ‘read better’ if he said A, B, and C [at the reunion]. It was more about public perception [for him],” Ciara admitted on WWHL.
