After a whirlwind season of heartwarming romance, jaw-dropping drama, and a love triangle for the ages, fans are more eager than ever for the upcoming 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Tell All. Ahead of the April 26 Tell All premiere, the season’s only franchise alum, Elise Benson, sat down with Swooon to give viewers a taste of what is to come during the special event.
While viewers got to know Elise in a new light this season, where she traveled to Australia to meet her long-distance boyfriend Joshua Lawson (and his bestie, Chris), for the first time IRL, she was first introduced to TLC fans during the inaugural season of 90 Day: Hunt for Love. As she put it, she was a bit of a “wrecking ball” during her time on Hunt for Love, so it’s been wonderful to share more of herself and her personality on Before the 90 Days.
While Before the 90 Days has been a completely different experience, this Tell All is not her first rodeo, unlike the rest of the cast, who are facing the classic 90 Day Fiancé reunion for the first time. That said, having been featured on the Hunt for Love Tell All may not have given her as much of a leg up as one would expect.

Looking back at filming the Tell All, Elise revealed to Swooon, “It’s really crazy.” She explained, “It’s so different from the Tell All on Hunt for Love, right?” While she knew everyone personally, coming into the Hunt for Love Tell All, whereas she only knew the Before the 90 Days cast from “watching screeners of them” to prep for everything that would be brought up at the Tell All.
“It’s interesting to meet the people, compared to, like, watching them on TV, right?” According to Elise, not everyone came across exactly how they appeared on-camera. While she didn’t name names, Elise explained, “Some of them were very mean to me, to be honest with you, and like, attacked me and made me feel super upset.”
While we’ll have to wait until the end of the month to find out who didn’t get along, she could confirm, “It’s a lot of drama and a lot more unpredictable stuff.” As with every 90 Day Fiancé season, she revealed, “You never think you can get more [drama], but you always end up getting more!”
