During Season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, fans first met Nicole and Mahmoud Sherbiny, a married couple in Egypt. While the couple went on to star in Season 8 of another 90 Day spinoff, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, they have been fairly private on social media ever since, leading fans to question where their relationship stands today.
Throughout Season 4 of The Other Way, Nicole struggled to adjust to Muslim culture, including the conservative dress code and gender roles. At the Tell All, many of their fellow cast members encouraged Nicole to get a divorce from Mahmoud. While the 90 Day Fiancé couple joined the Happily Ever After cast during Season 8, they were absent beyond Episode 10 and did not attend the Tell All, similar to Tigerlily and Adnan Abdelfattah during Season 9.

At this time, it is unclear whether Nicole and Mahmoud are still together. As of April 2026, Nicole and Mahmoud do not follow each other on social media, despite having previously tagged each other in photos together. While this is not confirmation of a split, a reality star unfollowing their spouse on social media is never a good sign.
The couple’s journey was tumultuous, to say the least, during Season 4 of The Other Way, and it was clear that their values may not have aligned. However, the last time either member of the couple was spotted in public, they were together. That said, the spotting was reported by popular 90 Day blogger Shabooty in March of 2024. At the time, a fan claimed that they saw the couple at a grocery store in California; however, no pictures came along with the claim.

Why did Nicole and Mahmoud go silent on Instagram?
Neither Nicole nor Mahmoud has posted about their relationship since they left Happily Ever After in May 2024. Since then, Nicole has posted a single modeling shoot and has changed his Instagram bio to include “#90dayfiance I hate reality TV.”
While the couple has not confirmed why they left the franchise and went silent on social media, their departure from the series came around the same time multiple blogs alleged that Mahmoud was arrested for a misdemeanor, claiming that he was charged with domestic violence against Nicole. These claims were never confirmed.
