After the major success of Finding Her Edge Season 1 on Netflix, author Jennifer Iacopelli is heading back to the rink with the highly anticipated sequel to her beloved novel!
Swooon can officially announce that Adriana, Brayden, and Freddie‘s story will continue on the page with On Thin Ice. The sequel finds Adriana torn between her new relationship with Freddie and her connection both on and off the ice with her ice dance partner, Brayden.
“I was so excited to see audiences falling in love with Finding Her Edge when it came to life on screen this year on Netflix,” Iacopelli told Swooon, “And now to be able to dive back into that world, which has become so special to me in so many ways, is such an incredible gift. As readers know, Iacopelli writes about ambitious young women falling in love. Throughout her career, her books have been published in over a dozen languages, and Finding Her Edge is now streaming on Netflix. She lives in New York and writes to her heart’s content while cheering on her beloved Yankees.
On Thin Ice is set to hit bookshelves on February 2, 2027. Ahead of the release of On Thin Ice, Iacopelli’s next novel, Wildcard, the sequel to Game, Set, Match, comes out on June 9, 2026. Finding Her Edge on Netflix has also been renewed for a second season.
