Brett Maverick has experienced plenty of adventures, and he’s ready for the most exciting one yet: marriage. The 35-year-old is one of the three handsome farmers looking for love in Farmer Wants a Wife Season 4, which premieres April 21 on Fox.
Brett is the oldest farmer of the new leads, and he wants to find the perfect partner to settle down with. So, who is Brett Maverick? From where he lives to his other businesses besides farming, Swooon has rounded up everything you need to know about Brett.
What does Brett Maverick do for a living?
Brett is a farmer, of course. He works on a 1,000-acre horse-and-cattle farm. “I love the lifestyle of farming. Getting up in the morning, taking care of your animals,” Brett said in a Season 4 preview video. Before he embraced farm life full-time, Brett was a bull rider.
He told Swooon that he had helped out on cattle ranches in West Texas, which got him into the “cowboy side of things,” including bull riding. After “about the fourth concussion,” Brett decided to leave bull riding behind.
He’s also built a protein bar company called AlphaTenn Energy. His clean and organic performance brand includes products made with superfood mushrooms. In addition to AlphaTenn Energy, Brett is working on launching a tequila brand called Good Girl.
Where does Brett Maverick live?
Brett is from Savannah, Tennessee, which is two hours outside of Memphis. The farmer is a huge fan of the University of Tennessee.
How does Brett Maverick know RaeLynn?
Brett is friends with country singer RaeLynn. He met RaeLynn through her husband, Josh Davis. Brett has shared photos of RaeLynn and Josh from CMA Fest and University of Tennessee football games over the years.

What is Brett Maverick looking for in a wife?
Brett will be the first to admit that he can come across as shy. “When I first meet people, I’m pretty reserved, and that’s because I like to listen,” he told Swooon. “I really like to kind of see how people are. You can tell a lot when you’re listening.” When it comes to red and green flags in a woman, it all boils down to “how they hold themselves, how they treat others.”
Host Kimberly Williams-Paisley described Brett as “lovely, gentle, polite, maybe a little more stoic” compared to the other farmers. Brett would call himself a romantic, and he’s ready to romance one lucky lady forever!
