Who Is Braden Pridemore? Meet the New ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ Season 4 Star
What To Know
- Braden Pridemore is one of three stars on Farmer Wants a Wife Season 4 looking for love.
- He co-owns his family’s farm and performs music.
- Braden told Swooon what he’s looking for in a partner and more.
Three handsome farmers are looking to find their special someone on Farmer Wants a Wife Season 4, which promises “deeper connections as a new group of single women leave behind city comforts for muddy boots, early mornings, and the promise of forever.” Alongside Brett Maverick and Sean Cavanaugh, Braden Pridemore will look for a forever partner among the 27 women joining the cast this season.
“Kind of been around the dating scene where I’m from, and it’s pretty slim to none,” Braden told Swooon of why he decided to look for love on TV. “But yeah, I’m in a really good spot in my life, I feel like, as far as my career, my home, and I’m just kind of missing that one piece, and that’s somebody to share it with. And this isn’t traditional by any means, but it’s a once-in-a-lifetime thing. And I thought, ‘Why not take a jump?'”
Get to know the 26-year-old reality star — who boasts some music skills as well as farming ones — below.
Where is Braden Pridemore from?
Braden hails from Homer, Illinois, where he’s a fifth-generation farmer. He lives on his family’s 3,000-acre operation.
What does Braden Pridemore do for a living?
Braden farms corn and soybeans, specifically. He co-owns his family’s business. Though he writes songs and plays his guitar at local bars on the side, Braden isn’t trying to make it in that field professionally. “It’s something I kind of fell into by accident,” he said. “I enjoy writing music, but it’s not really something I’m trying to make too much of a career out of. I just kind of take it and see where it goes.
He added, “I’m not the greatest singer in the world, but I say, ‘Good enough to get by,’ is what I tell people.”

What is Braden Pridemore looking for in a wife?
Braden is looking for someone who’s down to earth. “I look for that, and somebody I can have fun with and that kind of matches my dry sense of humor, stuff like that,” he continued. “I like someone who’s pretty secure with themselves because I feel like if you got a few insecurities that hold you back… and at the end of the day, everybody has insecurities. I realize that I have insecurities myself, but it’s hard if you’re not really secure with yourself. I feel like it’s hard to be in a secure relationship.”
While an interest in music is attractive to him, it’s not a dealbreaker for Braden. “If they’re into the same music, that’s always nice, but I don’t expect them to be writing songs with me or something like that,” he said. “But no, it’s nice when they appreciate that, for sure.”
