What does Sylvain Gricourt do for a living?
Since 2021, Sylvain has been a content manager for Économie d’Énergie in Paris, per his LinkedIn. He is a web SEO editor at the company. He previously held a similar position for the company Esikmoz.
How did Leila Roker meet Sylvain Gricourt?
While it’s unclear exactly how Leila and Sylvain met, their introduction came after she moved to Paris for school in 2017. Leila attended The American University of Paris in France and met Sylvain one year after relocating overseas.
When she announced her engagement to Sylvain, Leila wrote on Instagram, “8 years ago, I moved to Paris, 7 years ago I met my person and best friend, and 2 days ago that person took me on the most amazing surprise trip to Venice to ask me to spend the rest of our lives together.”
After graduating from college in 2021, Leila remained in Paris to continue her career in public relations (and to maintain her relationship with Sylvain).
When is Leila Roker and Sylvain Gricourt’s wedding?
Leila and Sylvain’s wedding in France will take place on the weekend of May 9. However, Al’s wife, Deborah Roberts, revealed in October 2025 that the pair is actually having two wedding days.
“We have to do a small ceremony in France because she lives in Paris,” Deborah said on Live With Kelly and Mark. “And so they have to do something small there, and I said, ‘Let’s keep it teeny tiny.’ And then she wants to come home.”
Deborah noted that the United States wedding is when the family will “blow the budget” with a larger celebration. The date for that has not been publicly revealed.
