It’s official! On May 18, ahead of the 90 Day: The Single Life Season 5 Tell All, TLC revealed that Liz Woods is engaged to Alec!
Letting the fandom in on the big news, Liz shared, “After all the laughs, adventures, late nights, and memories together, we finally get forever! Alec and I are so excited for this next chapter.”
This season, fans saw Liz get to know Pedro Jimeno‘s friend Villa Garcia during a girls’ trip to the Dominican Republic with Sophie Sierra and Julia Trubkina. While she was only hoping for a vacation fling, she found a real connection with Villa, ultimately sharing updates about her health and revealing that she had been seeing Alec back home.

On May 18, she revealed that she had gotten engaged to Alec, her beau from back home. In TLC’s official announcement, she shared three photos of herself and her fiancé, revealing pictures of him for the first time. Could he be making his first franchise appearance at the Tell All tonight?

What happened between Liz and Villa?
As of the Season 5 finale, Liz and Villa are no longer together. During the finale, Liz, who has been dealing with ovarian cancer, told viewers, “I have a child, he has a child. We live on opposite sides of the country, and there are days when my sickness takes a toll on me, and I want someone who can be there by my side. I’ve fought really hard to make relationships in the past work, and I don’t have any more fight left in me, especially while being sick.”

At the same time, Villa genuinely fell for Liz. He explained, “Liz was a genuine person with me, and I fell in love with Liz. I think we could probably be something and work something out, be together, whatever.” Leaving the Dominican Republic, Liz admitted, “I think my biggest fear is, like, going home and realizing that our love wasn’t just a love on vacation, that it could have been something more.”

When did Alec propose to Liz?
Ahead of the Tell All, we don’t know too much about Alec, Liz’s love from back home, whom she met about three months before her trip. She has revealed, “His name is Alec, and we just clicked. Alec wants a relationship with me, but I’ve never been single, so I told Alec I was coming on this trip, and I wanted to date.”
Until the Tell All, it is unclear when they rekindled their relationship. That said, fans have largely speculated that Alec proposed to Liz in June. On social media, a 90 Day Fiancé blog reported, “Back in June 2025, a fan saw Alec propose to Liz at a festival in Seattle.”
