What will My Life with the Walter Boys Season 4 be about?

There are no storyline details confirmed yet. My Life with the Walter Boys is based on Ali Novak’s Wattpad story-turned-novel, which was followed up by a sequel, My Return to the Walter Boys. Season 2 doesn’t follow the book, and the following two seasons won’t, either.

Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger. Cole confronted Jackie about her secret relationship with Alex, wondering why she could stay away from him but not his brother. He told Jackie he loves her, and Jackie returns the sentiment. Alex walked in on their mutual love confession just as an ambulance pulled up to their house for the Walter brothers’ father.

Season 3 is expected to pick up where the finale left off. It’ll cover Cole’s final semester of high school. In Season 2, he was applying to college while Jackie and Alex were still juniors. “We have a little bit of time yet before we lose our characters to college, but I would love to continue the story as they get older and mature in these schools,” Halsall told Swooon after Season 2’s finale.

The showrunner told Swooon that she doesn’t have a specific number of seasons in mind for the story. But she does have an endgame for Jackie, having “mapped this out a long way down the line.”

She added, “I’m fascinated by these characters and these stories in this world, and I would love to keep telling these stories for as long as people keep watching them, would like to keep watching them. So you never know. We might be seeing our characters get older and older as we go ahead, but I would love to keep telling these stories.”
