It’s been a rough week for Perfect Match Season 4 star Jimmy Presnell, who’s gone from getting into a massive fight with Kassy Castillo to watching his current match Ally Lewber connect with another guy. Now that we know where Jimmy and Ally’s relationship status landed, there is one argument that still needs to be settled: Did Jimmy say he wanted to kiss Kassy, or did she say she wanted to kiss him?
During the mixer between the matched guys and the single ladies during Episode 6, Kassy approached Jimmy to question why he chose Ally over her the week prior. “I’m being completely honest,” she confessed. “I feel like you were breadcrumbing me because you know that Ally kissed Dave [Hand], and you were just trying to get back at her.” In response, Jimmy claimed, “You asked for the kiss.”

What happened between Jimmy and Kassy?
Before their reunion at the Episode 6 mixer, Jimmy and Kassy went on a date in Episode 4. For their date, Jimmy and Kassy had a tailgate picnic on the beach. Before their kiss, Jimmy told Kassy, “The eye contact and the engagement that you put in conversations, that’s something I really look for. You crack me up, actually.”
Kassy then confessed, “I’m always trying to just live life to the fullest, but I think that’s what a lot of people don’t know, that it’s because of my older sister’s car accident. She got traumatic brain damage, and I’m just like, you never know what tomorrow’s gonna be.”
After sharing a deeper conversation, the two walked down to the beach for a sunset walk. At the end of the date, they did share a kiss.
Who initiated the kiss?
Ultimately, it was Jimmy who initiated their first kiss. On the beach, he told Kassy, “I’m not gonna lie. I want to kiss you.” In response, she agreed, “Yeah, that’d be pretty hot.” Cue: The makeout and subsequent breadcrumbing claims.

Why did Jimmy and Kassy fight about their kiss?
Kassy (correctly) asked Jimmy why he kissed her if he wasn’t actually interested. After he (incorrectly) claimed that it was Kassy who initiated the kiss, she reminded him, “No, Jimmy, you said, ‘I want to kiss you.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, let’s do it.'” He revealed, “I definitely did want to kiss you. We had a great date. You were amazing.”
Of course, Kassy didn’t disagree that it was an amazing date. She was hurt by the fact that their date made her think, “He’s going to pick me.” She asked, “Why ask me all these serious questions just for you to know you were going to pick Ally? I feel like you already knew. Please tell me if I’m wrong.”
According to Jimmy, he didn’t know going into their date that he was going to pick Ally. He explained, “I was excited we went on a date. I don’t regret kissing you.”
Despite Jimmy’s genuine response, Kassy fired back, “You were breadcrumbing me the whole way. Just tell me honestly. I’m 24 years old. I’m not 11 years old. Just tell me you knew it’d be Ally.” As Jimmy maintained that he was open, Kassy stormed away.
