‘The Voice’: Is Riley Green in a Relationship? A Deep Dive Into His Love Life
Riley Green released his first album in 2019, but it wasn’t until more recently that he began to blow up on the country music scene. A lot of that was due in part to his hit collaboration with Ella Langley called “You Look Like You Love Me.”
Now, Green is branching out from just music. With a role on Marshals and a new position as a coach on Season 30 of The Voice, he’s showing his many other talents, as well.
With Green heavily in the spotlight these days, Swooon rounded up everything to know about his love life.
Is Riley Green in a relationship?
Green does not appear to currently be in a relationship. He showed up to the ACM Awards on May 17 solo and joked that he chose not to bring a date because Shania Twain, who hosted the event, was in attendance.
All jokes aside, though, Green said in a 2025 podcast interview that he was “single.” In December, he said he was “not” dating anyone.
Who is Riley Green’s ex-girlfriend?
Green was previously in a relationship with Sophia Sansone, a music executive. She is the managing partner at Make Wake Artists, having originally joined the company as an assistant in 2017 and working her way up to where she is now.

Most notably, Sansone managed Luke Combs during his rise to superstardom. She also signed The Band Perry to Make Wake Artists when they announced their return to country music.
Sansone is the cousin of Farmer Wants a Wife Season 3 star John Sansone, who briefly dated Langley in 2025.
While Sansone and Green kept details of their relationship private, they went public with their romance at the 2022 CMT Awards by walking the red carpet together. In a recent podcast interview, Sansone said she and Green were together for about three years.
She described the relationship as “on and off” and a “bad situation,” adding, “When I look back, I was trying to hold on to the good far in between moments. The reality of it was I was in a relationship with somebody that I don’t even know who he was. He wasn’t who I thought he was.”
Sansone also accused her ex of breaking her electronic devices multiple times and claimed he would often diminish her career and professional achievements.
Did Riley Green date Megan Moroney?
Rumors that Green was dating country singer Megan Moroney first surfaced when fans noticed they were seemingly vacationing together in St. Barts in December 2024.
A few months later, Moroney told Rolling Stone, “He was individually on vacation with his friends. St. Barts is a popular place! It’s one of those things where if you know someone on a small island, you’re like, ‘Oh, s**t, you’re here too.’ So it was fun. Just because we’re hanging out doesn’t mean we’re romantically dating. You know what I mean?”

After that interview came out, they were seen together at the airport after the 2025 ACM Awards, then again in Green’s Alabama hometown a few weeks later. When Moroney released her album Cloud 9 in February 2026, there seemed to be a few nods toward a past with Green in some of the lyrics.
One song, “Convincing,” features Moroney singing about falling for someone on vacation, with lyrics including, “Spin me around, sand as our dance floor, it sure feels like we’ve been here before laughing at you, you’re singing to me,” and, “we’ve got palm trees wishing wе would get a room, we can’t get any closеr.”
However, the track that really had fans talking was “Who Hurt You,” which Moroney teased before the album’s release by noting, “Bar for bar, didn’t lie, said everything so that I don’t have to answer interview questions about the situation. Here’s my piece, and there’s no need to ask me any questions about it because I told you what I needed to say. … Like, have you heard the song? There should be no further questions.”
That song includes lyrics such as, “The devil went down to Georgia, then he crossed the ‘Bama line” (an apparent nod to Moroney and Green’s home states), and another apparent reference to the St. Barts trip: “I heard what they were thinking, ‘She ignored the warning signs’, but if you flew across the world for them, they too would change their mind.”
Needless to say, things did not end well in the relationship Moroney is singing about on “Who Hurt You.”
Did Riley Green and Ella Langley date?
Langley and Green have long maintained that they never dated, despite previous fan speculation surrounding their relationship status. After their duet “You Look Like You Love Me” came out in 2024, followed by several awards shows and concert performances together, it was rumored that they were more than just professional collaborators.

After Langley insisted that she and Green were “just friends” in September 2024, he said on The Viall Files podcast, “Ella’s probably too smart to date me anyway. When we first started having success with that song, I kinda told Ella, ‘There’s gonna be a lot of things said, but I mean you don’t really gotta play into it or not play into it.’”
At the end of 2025, Green once again clarified, “I’m rumored to have dated a lot of people. I kind of understand that. People always long for that Tim [McGraw] and Faith [Hill], Johnny [Cash] and June [Carter], George [Jones] and Tammy [Wynette] thing,” he admits. “Me and Ella have two giant songs together, and I think fans want to believe that what you’re singing about is real.”
What happened with Riley Green and Bryana Ferringer?
In November 2025, Green showed up at the CMA Awards with Bryana Ferringer as his date. Ferringer used to date another country artist, Tucker Wetmore.
The following month, Green referred to Ferringer as a “friend,” telling Backstage Country, “It’s gonna be tough to tiptoe out of having a date to an award show. Yeah, I mean, you go to award shows all the time, and I’m always by myself, or I’ve got, like, a security guy, or a buddy with me, so I took a friend with me to the award show.”
He said he and Ferringer had a “nice time” together, but did not elaborate. The duo was spotted attending a basketball game in February, but anything that was going on between them appears to have fizzled out.
