Holden, 21, and 20-year-old Leland made a rare red carpet appearance at the premiere of the actor’s new movie, Pressure, in May 2026. The siblings, who Fraser shares with ex-wife Afton Smith, have entered the spotlight since their dad’s 2022 comeback movie The Whale. When his performance earned him an awards run — and an Oscar — Fraser had Holden and Leland by his side at several events.
“It’s been like I’ve been on a diving expedition to the bottom of the ocean, and the air on the line [has come from] some people in my life, like my sons Holden and Leland and Griffin — I love you, Griffey,” Fraser said in his acceptance speech for the Best Actor Oscar, shouting out his eldest son, who wasn’t in attendance.

Griffin Fraser
In a 2018 GQ interview, Fraser shared that Griffin, who was born in 2002 and remains out of the spotlight, is on the autism spectrum.
“And so he needs extra love in the world, and he gets it. And his brothers, ever since they were small, one was always the spokesperson and the other was the enforcer,” Fraser said. “[He’s] a curative on everyone who meets him, I noticed. People have some rough edges to them. Or he just makes them, I don’t know…put things into sharper relief and maybe find a way to have a little bit more compassion. They don’t put themselves first so much around him.”

Holden Fraser
Born 2004, Holden is a student at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. In February 2023, his dad visited his film studies class. “They’d all gone out to see The Whale, and they’re whipsmart kids,” Fraser said on Sunday TODAY. “They understand the craft of filmmaking in a way that’s so impressive.”
In an interview with Greenwich Magazine in 2023, Holden revealed that he wanted to be a writer before he turned to acting. Holden recalled playing a street urchin in his middle school’s production of Oliver, which helped him find his passion. “Until about two years ago, I wasn’t sure this was something I was confident in and could realistically pursue,” Holden said. “It’s been an external validation with huge support from teachers and friends and family, and now I feel it, too.”
The magazine noted that Holden earned the Yale Alumni Award at his school for showing “exemplary character and involvement in extracurricular activities.” He was the co-president of his school’s Wickpride club, which supported the school’s LGBTQ community. He also served on youth board of Abilis, an organization that provides support to people with special needs and disabilities. “My older brother was diagnosed with severe autism and Tourette’s, and Abilis has been a great resource for us,” he explained.
Holden, like his brother Leland, is currently signed to the Marilyn modeling agency. He appeared on the cover of ODDA magazine in 2023, the same year that he made his runway debut at the Hermès FW 23 Men’s Show in Brooklyn. In 2025, he walked for Todd Snyder during Fashion Week, according to Models.com.

Leland Fraser
Leland, who was born in 2006, is also no stranger to the runway or magazine covers. He made his Fashion Week debut with Helmut Lang S/S 24 show in 2023, shortly followed by a COS show. “I’ve always been very into self-expression,” the then-16-year-old told GQ in September 2023. “I’m not as deep into the history of fashion and what makes a good outfit look good, but I love to express myself in any way I can.”
He told the magazine that he’d been going to casting calls with his mom and working on his walk. It seemed to have paid off, because Leland recently walked on Moncler Grenoble’s runway in January 2026. About a year earlier, he was featured on the covers of Numéro Homem Brasil and Hall Pass.
Modeling wasn’t his main interest, and it still isn’t, according to Leland’s Instagram. “Music is my main passion, but fashion and modeling is more of a physical expression. The music is more emotional,” he told GQ. “In day-to-day life, I’m not really that extravagant in my emotions. My friends all call me very monotone and level-headed, but when I’m playing or performing, it’s a completely different story. I use all of the stage.”
The day after his dad won his Oscar, Leland performed a ZZ Top with ’80s cover band Fast Times. Fraser watched his son on stage at L.A. club Whisky a Go Go. “They learned I played guitar and let me hop up,” Leland recalled. At the time, he’d been playing guitar and bass for years and posting videos of himself playing to to Instagram.
“‘Tush’ by ZZ Top is just a blues [number], which is something I could play with my eyes closed behind my back, so I wasn’t too nervous about that. It was mainly going in front of a huge crowd at the peak of their energy,” said Leland, who’s now part of New York City-based band Hunter Road.
