Love Island USA bombshells always have to work harder to make an impression — on the OG Islanders and viewers. After stealing one of the boys, Kayda Bosse has made a splash in Season 8 as the first new girl. Especially because she was involved in Episode 2’s “Paradise Cove” twist, during which she had to share a bed with two Islanders.

How old is Kayda Bosse?
The latest Islander is 22 years old, putting her on the younger end of the cast. She doesn’t let her younger age affect her confidence: “I’m 10 out of 10,” Kayda said in a voiceover. “These men are gonna fall to their knees for me. I’m in my player mode. These other girls should definitely watch out. I’m gonna step on toes if I have to.”
Where is Kayda Bosse from?
Kayda didn’t share her hometown in her introduction, but she did say she’s from New Hampshire. (She wondered if multiple Islanders actually knew where it was on the map. Most did.)
We did a bit of digging and found that she went to high school in Manchester. She also has the Haitian flag in her bio on TikTok, where she has over 130,000 followers. She has Haitian roots on her dad’s side, while her mom mother is of mixed German and Irish descent, she shared during the show.
What does Kayda Bosse do for a living?
In Episode 2, Kayda said that she works as a server. She explained that she’s done a bit of modeling in New York, but didn’t enjoy the fast pace.
Her name is also on an NCSA college recruiting profile, which says she played basketball in high school and graduated in 2023. “I’ve been playing basketball since I learned how to walk,” says Kayda’s player bio. “My dad taught me everything I know. He played college basketball and still plays. I’m very serious about basketball and academics. As a teammate, I make everyone feel like they belong. I’m a very smiley and happy person, but when it comes to basketball, I always come ready to play.”
