‘Love Island USA’ Season 8: Who’s Still Together After the Finale?

'Love Island USA' final couples of season 8
Ben Symons/Peacock

Despite all the drama and falling outs, Love Island USA Season 8 saw seven couples form. Four of them made it to the finale on July 12, including one who started dating officially. Trinity Tatum and Bryce Dettloff were already girlfriend and boyfriend when they won the show.

Aniya Harvey and Carl Schmidt met during Casa Amor, only for Aniya to stay loyal to her disloyal OG partner. However, America voted for Carl to return, and they became runners-up. They didn’t make their relationship exclusive or official beforehand, though. Neither did third-place couple Melanie Moreno and Sincere Rhea, who had the rockiest journey out of everyone.

It was a lot to keep track of in about six weeks’ worth of episodes, which is why we’ve recapped everything each couple went through below. We’ve also included all the latest updates on where they stand now. Who is still together now that the cameras have stopped rolling? Let us know your favorite matchups in the comments at the end of the page!

Bryce Dettloff & Trinity Tatum

Status: Still Together

Trinity was the only girl to pick Bryce on Day 1. They didn’t want to stay closed off in a couple with each other by the end of the next day. Both put themselves out there when the new bombshells arrived. But when neither were picked by their respective bombshells in Episode 2, they were put back into a couple by default. (As KC said, “Awkward.”)

But after that, Trinity and Bryce remained fairly solid couple over the first five days in the villa, continuing to get to know each other. Trinity was the last girl to pick her partner in Episode 5. Though she’d chatted with Sean, she went with her Day 1 partner. Trinity stayed solely committed to Bryce after that, but Bryce pulled Kayda for a chat to see if there was any chemistry between them in Episode 8. Kayda shut things down quickly, and Bryce went back to Trinity. They didn’t truly explore outside of each other from then on out, exchanging heartfelt letters in Episode 13 and stating loyal during Casa Amor.

During Episode 24, Bryce and Trinity went on their first date outside of the villa and Bryce asked Trinity to be his official girlfriend. Trinity happily said yes. Bryce, of course, chose Trinity again at Episode 27’s recoupling. They won first place in the finale, ahead of which they exchanged “I love yous.”

Before they won, Zach Georgiou asked if Bryce was going to have Trinity stay with him in Los Angeles. Trinity lives in Virginia. “Whatever she wants, dude,” Bryce said. “It’s an open door. She could stay however long. There’s no time limit.”

“I think most people are going to L.A., and Trinity’s coming to L.A. with me, too,” Bryce said in an Instagram video shared by Love Island USA.

They’ve both shared updates on social media post-show. “I came in with an open heart and left with the girl of my dreams,” Bryce wrote in a July 16 Instagram post.

Melanie Moreno and Sincere Rhea of 'Love Island USA' Season 8
Ben Symons / Peacock

Melanie Moreno & Sincere Rhea

Status: Still Together

Let’s get into the most tumultuous pairing of the season. Melanie and Sincere picked each other on Day 1, with Melanie noting that Sincere felt familiar to her. When they were given the option to keep exploring other connections the next day, both opted to stay with each other.

There was some trouble in paradise in the days that followed. Melanie wasn’t happy when a villa game revealed that Sincere had once texted other girls when he was with his then-partner. Melanie had conversations with other guys in the villa, including bombshell Corbin, but she ultimately stuck with Sincere in Episode 5. Things got even rockier when Sincere’s head was turned by bombshell Sol in Episode 6. Ultimately, America decided for Sincere to partner up with Sol, though Sincere kept seeing Melanie. He juggled both women and gave each of them the impression that they were his first choice.

During Casa Amor, Sincere kissed bombshell Amora and formed a connection with her, but he ultimately decided to return to the villa without her, recoupling with Melanie. Melanie did the same thing, picking Sincere over her over connection. After Casa, Melanie still wasn’t totally sold on Sincere’s, well, sincerity, but she decided to stay with him.

Things weren’t looking good for a bit after Movie Night, which showed everything Sincere did with and said to Sol. Melanie realized their connection was deeper than he let on. Despite expressing doubts, she managed to reconcile with Sincere by Episode 29’s karaoke challenge, and an episode later, Sincere told Melanie that he saw himself marrying and having kids with her. They finished in third place.

Melanie and Sincere left the show seemingly together, though not official. They haven’t posted together immediately after the show, though Sincere spoke about his plans to win over Melanie’s family.

“Again, I think a lot of the reconstructive work as far as it goes to like winning her family over and still regaining that trust and rebuilding that loyalty [is] just showing them physical and actual representation of this is the person that I am and this is how I do feel about Melanie,” Sincere said in a July 18 interview with Complex.

Aniya Harvey and Carl Schmidt of 'Love Island USA' Season 8
Ben Symons / Peacock

Aniya Harvey & Carl Schmidt

Status: Still Together

Carl entered as a bombshell in Casa Amor, hitting it off with Aniya right off the bat. They kissed several times and had a strong connection over the next several episodes, though Aniya still felt loyalty to her OG partner, KC. When it came time to decide to pick KC again or Carl in Episode 21, Aniya picked KC, not wanting to lose what they’d built for weeks. However, KC returned with a new connection, blindsiding Aniya.

Luckily, two episodes later, America’s vote brought Carl back into the villa. Though he said he wanted to move a bit slower after she sent him home, it didn’t take too long for Aniya and Carl to connect again. They couldn’t officially couple up until Episode 27, though they were only interested in each other during the prior episodes. They made it all the way to second place in the finale.

In Carl’s first Instagram post after the show, he shared a photo of him and Aniya during their fairytale-themed final date. “Walls were never really up let’s be honest,” he wrote. Aniya reposted it with the comment “My Prince Charming” and a heart-hands emoji.

Aniya and Carl talked about their future after the show during filming. Aniya mentioned wanting to visit Carl in Nantucket, where he’s from (though he’s currently based in Denver). Nantucket is closer to Aniya’s home state of Georgia.

“I was a little bit nervous and a little bit hesitant because you know I have to be in Denver for the next three years for PT school,” Carl said. “That’s hard when you’re in two different states.”

When Aniya asked if Carl was open to a long-distance relationship, he said, “I’ve tried distance in the past, and it is tough, but I think distance works well if both people have their lives together. We can both kind of grind and grow together kind of deal.”

Kayda Bosse and Zach Georgiou of 'Love Island USA' Season 8
Ben Symons / Peacock

Kayda Bosse & Zach Georgiou

Status: Still Together

When he decided to keep exploring at the end of Episode 1, Zach was pulled away to a separate villa by bombshell Kayda, who wound up picking him over Bryce when they returned to the main group. Though they were open to exploring other connections, Zach and Kayda picked each other at every recoupling since they got together. They remained in a relatively drama-free couple after, even going to the Hideaway together in Episode 11. They exchanged love letters in Episode 13.

Casa Amor saw Kayda stay loyal to Zach, not even kissing anyone outside of a challenge. Zach went further with his Casa girl, Alannah. She was ultimately dumped from the show before the Casa segment was over. (More on that here.) When he returned to Kayda, Zach assured her that she was his first pick. Movie Night stirred up drama when Kayda discovered that Alannah left early, so Zach couldn’t have brought her back to the villa even if he wanted to.

Regardless, Zach and Kayda stayed together in the episodes after, with Zach picking Kayda again during Episode 27’s recoupling. They were in America’s bottom three couples after a public vote, though, which was revealed that same episode and caused some doubts to form. Still, Zach asked Kayda to exclusively date by the end of Episode 30. They wound up in fourth place.

Kayda and Zach are still together post-show, with Birmingham, England, native Zach confirming his plans to visit Kayda’s home state of New Hampshire at some point post-show. In his first Instagram post after filming, Zach shared a photo of the two of them. “Zayda4life,” he wrote in the caption on July 19.

Dylan Wrona and Kenzie Annis of 'Love Island USA' Season 8
Kim Nunneley / Peacock

Dylan Wrona & Kenzie Annis

Status: Still Together

Kenzie found Dylan during Casa Amor, though after he became an OG villa resident, things got a little rocky. Despite feeling strongly about her connection with Dylan, Dylan was blindsided when Kenzie kissed Gal. However, that hurdle made Kenzie recommit to her couple with Dylan, and they worked through it and stayed together until they were dumped right before the finale.

Dylan and Kenzie made their relationship exclusive right after they left the villa. Days after the show, they’d already gone on their first date and Dylan flew to Georgia to stay with Kenzie’s family. “I think it goes without saying at this point, but like Kenzie and I really, really — well, I almost said a different word,” Dylan told Swooon days after their exit. “We really, really like each other a lot, and we’re moving in that direction of really falling for each other, and every single night, we just talk about how we feel closer, and we just are moving in an amazing direction. And you know, I’m already there. She says she’s obsessed with me, so it’s just a great feeling, and I’m just excited to see what’s in store for us.”

Corbin Mims & Parmida Keshani of 'Love Island USA' Season 8
Kim Nunneley / Peacock

Corbin Mims & Parmida Keshani

Status: Still Together

During Casa Amor, Corbin’s head was turned almost instantly by Parmida, ending his connection with Kenzie. After bringing Parmida back to the original villa, the new couple closed things off, moving at a breakneck pace for the show. They continued to have a strong relationship from then on out, but it didn’t save them from being voted America’s least favorite couple in Episode 29, sending them both home. They said they would continue to explore their connection in the real world.

Corbin and Parmida have followed through on their promise. On July 11, Parmida posted on Instagram, “I built incredible friendships, stayed true to myself every step of the way, and found a connection that felt so genuine and so real. One that only we truly understand. There’s so much more to us than what made it to your screens, and I can’t wait for you all to see that.”

Corbin wrote, “I don’t know how to tell you this but it was really the universe that brought us together and I am blessed to have left the villa with you as my couple. This is only the beginning to what we have started with each other.”

KC Chandler & Tierra Davis of 'Love Island USA' Season 8
Kim Nunneley / Peacock

KC Chandler & Tierra Davis

Status: Still Together

KC decided to end his coupling with Day 1 partner Aniya during Casa Amor, which started during Episode 21. KC and Tierra, who also goes by Titi, kissed on the first night, and KC felt like their connection was more effortless than his partnership with Aniya. The OG women weren’t happy about how KC handled the recoupling, especially after Movie Night. They disliked the “disrespectful” comments he made about Aniya.

However, Titi has stood by KC through it all and defended him. KC picked Titi again during Episode 27’s recoupling, and they stayed mostly clear of the drama after Movie Night. KC asked Titi to be his girlfriend and they left the show in an official relationship when they were dumped just before the finale. As of July 20, they haven’t shared any updates on social media.
