Every Year After Season 1 may revolve around Percy Fraser (Sadie Soverall) and Sam Florek (Matt Cornett), but Sam’s flirtatious, emotionally avoidant brother, Charlie (Michael Bradway), also gets plenty of time to shine. During a joint panel interview with Swooon‘s Damian Holbrook, Bradway and Cornett discussed how similar they were to their characters. Cornett pointed out that Bradway is a flirt with his longtime love, Veronica St. Clair, who was in the audience at Creation Entertainment‘s Page, Screen, and Everything in Between convention on May 9.
“She is my best friend, and she is the love of my life, and I am so lucky that we have each other and that I have her,” Bradway explained, adding that he was quite different from Charlie. “So yeah, it was I guess a little bit of a challenge for me to be that way, but no, it was a lot of fun and I got to have my support system with me the entire time when we were filming in Vancouver. And it’s nice to be able to bring your family with you to work.”

Who is Veronica St. Clair?
Like her husband-to-be, St. Clair is an actor. She grew up as a show choir kid in Burbank, California , per Houston Press, before studying theater in college. That’s when she started booking her first projects, which included small roles in Netflix’s Unbelievable and 13 Reasons Why. Her breakout role came along in 2021: She played Riley Velez in sci-fi drama La Brea until it ended with its third season in 2024.
“So I always, as long as I can remember, as long as I can cognizantly remember, I wanted to be an actor,” she told A Book Of. “But it wasn’t until I was 18 honestly that I was like actually this could be a viable career path. Or rather what I thought was if I’m going to be here on Earth, and I only have so much time here on Earth, I might as well be doing something that I love to be doing.
She explained, “I didn’t even feel like it was a sustainable or a viable thing for so long. And then all of a sudden, it seemed like it happened really quickly. And then the pandemic happened. And then I went straight from being isolated for a year to being on the other side of the world with all new people, shooting a TV show living out this dream that I’ve had for so many years, that I didn’t have time to process it.”
