At the start of Season 12, viewers got to know 26-year-old Catie and her 30-year-old British fiancé, Josh. While Catie had been living abroad, bouncing from city to city with pet-sitting gigs, she returned home to Portland, Oregon, to settle down with Josh when he arrived in America with his K-1 Visa. Since then, the duo has opened up about their unorthodox issue: As Catie put it, “I have intrusive thoughts as part of my OCD. When I get drunk, I really want to make out with everyone I know.”

Are Catie and Josh still together?
As of Episode 7 of Season 12, Catie and Josh are still together. However, now that Catie’s friend Ryan is back in the picture, Josh is not happy. According to Catie, after Josh watched Ryan do “inappropriate” things with Catie during Oktoberfest, their last communication was Josh sending a “You’re a horrible person, see you never” text.
At this time, we don’t know whether the duo got married and are still in a relationship today. However, Josh recently posted a video responding to viewers telling him to “run” from his relationship.
Does Ryan want to date Catie?
It seems like we may have a bit of a love triangle on our hands. At the end of Episode 7, titled “The Ball and Chain,” Ryan admitted, “Catie and I have had quite a few conversations about what she really wants with her life,” before asking, “There’s a reason that this keeps happening, right, Catie?” While we don’t know if this means Ryan wants to date Catie, that seems to be what he implied.
What have Catie and Josh said about their relationship status?
In a recent video, which you can watch below, Josh shared that he has seen all of the comments surrounding their relationship. He explained, “I understand that a lot of you are looking at my relationship with Catie and are just like, ‘What the f**k.’ I get it. I appreciate that some of you really care enough to want to reach out. I appreciate that some of you are quite upset. If I get another comment that says, ‘Run,’ […] I think I’m going to lose my mind.”

When did Catie and Josh get engaged?
During the first episode of the season, Catie revealed, “I wasn’t really thinking about marriage, but Josh proposed to me at sunset on the coast in Turkey. He did that classic proposal thing when you pretend to be taking a picture, but you’re actually taking a video.”
In the video, which was filmed on February 27, 2024, he asks, “I was wondering if you would marry me?” There, she laughed, responding, “I didn’t know this was coming, and I want to look cuter,” before answering, “I will.”
When did Catie and Josh meet?
Catie and Josh appear to have met in 2022. At the time, Catie was living a “nomadic” lifestyle. They met while Catie was pet-sitting in the UK, when Catie swiped on Josh’s friend Dave on Tinder. That night, Dave got kicked out of the bar, and Catie got Josh to walk her home. She revealed that during their walk, they made out on a bench, and then she left him peeing in a bush. As she put it, “And that’s how I met my fiancé.”
