Stu is married to Karalyn Holden (née West). Karalyn is a digital creator, but she was a model in the past.
She was born with a cleft lip and frequently advocates for cleft lip and palate awareness. “I often forget my past life as a model… but every time I remember, I think about how crazy it was that back when I started in 2004, a model’s success in that industry was determined solely by fitting into the same physical mold. Tall… skinny… perfect face… repeat. And here I was, born with a cleft lip, a facial deformity, able to have a 15 year career as a model,” she wrote on Instagram in 2023.
When did Stu and Karalyn Holden get married?
Stu and Karalyn started dating in 2010 and got engaged in 2014. They married in 2015.
Ahead of the World Cup, Stu and Karalyn celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary on June 7. “Happy Anniversary to the one that has been there from the beginning (and with a giant version of my face)!!! 16 years, 11 years married, and 2 kids later… I knew by the way you supported me, in the highs and the lows, that this was forever!!” Stu wrote on Instagram.
Karalyn penned a heartfelt anniversary message of her own and shared a gorgeous video from their wedding. “Yet it feels like yesterday 🩵 my annual repost of part of our wedding film- the most perfect day @stuholden ! Happy anniversary- who would have thought back then, our kids would remember the date because of SIX SEVENNNNN- look at us just ahead of the times,” her caption read.

Do Stu and Karalyn Holden have kids?
Stu and Karalyn have two children. They welcomed their first child, daughter Kennady, in February 2016. Their son, Remington, was born in June 2020.
What happened to Karalyn Holden and her daughter?
In 2024, Karalyn and her daughter, Kennady, were attending a Copa América final in 2024 and got caught in a crush of fans outside the stadium.
“It was so chaotic I was trying to stay aware and not on my phone. I felt so bad for Kenna who was so small, the bodies kept smashing into her face, I was in full mama bear mode. I looked over and a girl next to us looked so pale & when I asked her if she was okay, she said no,” she recalled on X. Karalyn and her daughter were not injured during the incident.
After Karalyn went into great detail about the ordeal, Stu responded, “My family have traveled around the World to see games in countries I’ve either played or worked in. Last night was the first time I’ve been genuinely concerned for their safety… and it was in our country. I hope there will be accountability for those that were in charge.”
