The 2026 World Cup officially begins on June 11, and while eyes will mostly be on the players hitting the field, there’s also a spotlight on those supporting them in the crowd. Of course, that includes the gorgeous wives and girlfriends of the professional soccer players.
While we’ll have to wait and see which ladies make a splash throughout the tournament, we would be remiss not to look back at some iconic soccer WAGS of the past. Not all of these women have partners who are currently active in the sport, and not all of the couples are even still together, but the ladies all have the soccer WAG title in common.

Victora Beckham
Perhaps the most famous soccer WAG of all-time, Victoria Beckham married David Beckham in 1999, and they have four children.
David officially retired from soccer in 2013, but he is now president and co-owner of Inter Miami CF, a Major League Soccer team, and co-owner of Salford City F.C. in England.
Shakira
Shakira was in a relationship with professional soccer player Gerard Piqué for more than a decade. They met when he starred in her music video for the official song of the 2010 World Cup and quietly started dating. Throughout their relationship, Shakira and Gerard welcomed two sons together.
The former couple split in 2022, and she accused him of cheating on her. Gerard retired from soccer that same year.
Georgina Rodriguez
Model and social media personality Georgina Rodriguez is an active WAG. She’s been in a relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo since 2016, and they announced their engagement in 2025.
Georgina and Cristiano share five children. The soccer star’s eldest son was born in 2010 before his relationship with Georgina began. They welcomed twins via surrogate in 2017, along with a daughter that same year. In 2022, Georgina gave birth to twins, but one died during childbirth.
Cristiano currently plays for the Saudi Pro League and on Portugal’s national team.
Antonela Roccuzzo
Antonela Roccuzzo, an Argentinian influencer, is the wife of Lionel Messi. After confirming their relationship in 2009, the two tied the knot in 2017 and share three sons.
Since 2023, Lionel has been playing for Inter Miami CF. He’s also on Argentina’s national team.
Perrie Edwards
Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards has been in a relationship with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain since 2017. They got engaged in 2022 and share two children. Alex currently plays soccer for Celtic.
Becky G
Since 2016, Becky G has been in a relationship with Sebastian Lletget. He proposed in 2022. Although Sebastian was the subject of cheating rumors in 2023, he publicly apologized and he and Becky G stayed together.
Sebastian currently plays for Monterey Bay F.C.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock
Perrie’s Little Mix bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock is also in a relationship with a soccer star. She started dating Andre Gray in 2016 and married him in 2023. They are parents to twins born in 2021.
Andre currently plays for Port Vale.
Pilar Rubio
Model and Spanish TV presenter Pilar Rubio married Sergio Ramos in 2019. They have been together since 2012 and have four sons.
