Ahead of Baylen Out Loud Season 1, TLC revealed, “Sammi is the third oldest and the second girl in the family.” During the first season, Sammi revealed that she has OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and severe flight anxiety. She opened up to viewers and revealed, “When I was eight years old, I knew that I had to do things a certain way, but I didn’t know why. And that’s when I started therapy because if I didn’t do something the way that my brain would tell me to, something [terrible] was gonna happen.”
Where does Sammi live?
Sammi lives in Kansas City, Kansas, roughly 1,050 miles from her family’s home in West Virginia. While Sammi’s anxiety stops her from visiting her family as much as she would like, the family always finds a way to get her involved in their big moments. Why did Sammi come to Baylen’s bachelorette party?
Like many sisters, Baylen and Sammi’s relationship has not always been smooth sailing. While it was a no-brainer for Baylen to make Sammi her maid of honor, Season 3 has revealed that Baylen was less than happy about Sammi’s involvement in planning her big day, at least at the beginning of the planning process.
While Baylen claims that she asked Sammi for help planning her and Colin’s joint bachelor/bachelorette party, Sammi was blindsided by their choice of destination: Asheville, North Carolina. Sammi made it clear that Asheville is a hassle to get to, so the last-minute plan forced Sammi to miss the big weekend, leading to both Sammi and Baylen getting upset with each other.
Why does Sammi Dupree have a scar on her neck?
During Season 1, fans were quick to notice what appears to be a surgical scar on Sammi’s neck. Sammi has never spoken about her scar on the show. While it is unclear how Sammi got her scar, it appears to be the result of surgery or another procedure.
Is Sammi Dupree in a relationship?
When viewers met Sammi, she was in a relationship. However, since Season 1, Sammi and her boyfriend have split. During Season 3, Sammi explained, “The last couple months, or really the last year of my life, has been messy with my anxiety and my thoughts… I was in a relationship for about two and a half years, and breaking up with somebody, your life just really flips upside down.”
