‘Next Gen NYC’: Who Is Gia Giudice’s Boyfriend? Inside Her Love Life
Gia Giudice is back on Bravo this week with the return of Next Gen NYC for Season 2. Viewers will see what the reality star has been up to, including insight into her relationship with boyfriend Christian Carmichael.
Christian does not come from the world of reality television and was hesitant to appear on the show at first, but has slowly gotten more comfortable being in front of the camera. Gia, meanwhile, has had Bravo cameras in her life since she was a child (her mom, Teresa Giudice, is a longtime cast member on The Real Housewives of New Jersey).

What does Gia Giudice’s boyfriend do for a living?
Christian lists himself as an “entrepreneur” on LinkedIn. He is the co-founder of Card Mastery, a “live sports card-breaking business.” The company opens collectible cards on TikTok live streams for groups of buyers.
Previously, Christian worked part-time as a real estate agent.
How did Gia Giudice meet her boyfriend?
Gia and Christian met during the summer of 2019 at a party in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. She was visiting a friend for the July 4th weekend, and they went to a party at the house where Christian was staying.

Gia called it the “best weekend of [her] life” and said she and Christian continued to hang out for the rest of the summer. That fall, she began her freshman year of college at Rutgers University, but by January 2020, she and Christian had become an official couple.
Although Gia and Christian didn’t go to high school together, they grew up just miles apart in northern New Jersey.
Why don’t Gia Giudice and her boyfriend live together?
After years of living in her mom’s house, Gia moved into her own apartment in Jersey City, New Jersey, in 2025. However, Christian did not move in with her.
“We don’t live together. I wanted to do that part on my own,” Gia explained on a May 2026 episode of her Casual Chaos podcast. However, she added that she does want to move in with Christian and suggested that it’ll probably happen within the next year.
“We’ll find a place together and then, you know, step-by-step,” she shared. “But we’re in no rush because we’ve been together since we were so young. We’ve been together since we were 19.”
Why aren’t Gia Giudice and her boyfriend engaged?
On the same podcast episode, Gia confirmed that she does want to marry Christian, but added, “It’s not happening right now.”
She pointed out that she’s still so young (Gia is 25) and noted, “We’re also growing together and making money and just really getting established. There’s no rush. When I see these people getting engaged so young, I’m like, ‘Where do you have the money for this? How are you ready for a family?'”
As for her “perfect timeline,” Gia said she hopes to be married and engaged before she turns 30. “I don’t wanna rush,” she clarified again. “I want to travel. Even though him and I travel all the time, I’m like … I want to travel. I want to do all the things before we have kids.”
